Maxine LoftusMaxine has almost 30 years’ experience in the social housing sector. She started her career at Bradford Council as a Housing Officer, eventually working her way up to Head of Operations for what is now Incommunities. During her time at Bradford Maxine worked on the transfer of Bradford’s stock to a newly formed housing association and developed an interest in regulation. She secured a role in what was then the Housing Corporation and has worked in front line regulation since. She now leads a team with responsibility for the financial and governance regulation of a national portfolio of around 50 large registered providers.

Charlie NormanCharlie began her career in the Social Housing Sector in 1988, and has worked for Salford City Council, District of Abbotsford in Canada and Plus Housing Group in Merseyside before joining St Vincent’s Housing Association in 2003. She was appointed the Group Chief Executive Designate of Mosscare St Vincent’s Housing Group in 2016 and became the permanent Group Chief Executive in June 2017. Charlie is the Chair of Bolton Community Homes and is a Board Member of Placeshapers, a national network of over 100 housing organisations. She is a passionate campaigner for issues affecting housing and health inequality, supported housing and independent living and homelessness. Charlie has an MBA and in her spare time enjoys time with family, hiking and yoga.

Lee WoodsLee has 29 years experience in the social housing sector, including 11 years as Group Director of Property for Harvest Housing Group and Your Housing Group. At both organisations Lee was responsible for housing and property and developed, implemented and managed the Group’s asset management and compliance arrangements. He has spent the last three years as consultant and is the lead consultant delivering Pennington Choices’ compliance health check, a practical assessment of RP’s compliance arrangements. Pennington Choices is a multidisciplinary organisation providing technical and professional services to the housing and property sectors.
