Madam President’s Report Auxiliary Meetings are the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the Month

Dear Sisters, Happy Spring!!!! April has been a busy month at the club. We started with the 61st Michigan Auxiliary Bowling Tournament. It was a huge suc-cess. The ladies enjoyed the dinners we had for both weekends and enjoyed hanging out at our club; they were a fun and lively bunch. We had fish dinners and steak and chick-en dinners which Joyce and her volun-teers made. We also had a City Chicken dinner which Lisa and Sue put together. Thank you to everyone who came and supported our Auxiliary. Thank you to Debbie Gagneau and all who helped her with the bowling tournament. A lot of hard work went into this event. Hopefully we will be able to host the tournament again in the near future. It was awesome to meet other Auxiliary members from other Eagles. Thank you to South-ern Heat and 57 Crusin for entertaining us on the

Saturday Nights and of course thank you to Larry James and DJ Betty for entertaining us on Friday nights. Thank you to Lodge Lanes who let us have the tournament at their bowling alley. Here’s hoping that our breakfast fundraiser will be half as successful as the cancer fundraiser.

Don’t forget that the Mother’s Day Lunch is Sunday May 13th from Noon to 3 pm. Moms eat for free and any other guess must pay. I would like to thank Diane Moore for all the work she does for the club. She prints and designs our flyers and tickets and other items.

She does this at a moment’s notice and never complains. She was a big help with our Diabetes Fundraiser. Thank you for being true Eagle mem-ber. Sincerely, Madam President Toni Watkins

Jeff Gueli as Secretary, Tela Fountan as Treasur-er, Darrol Mackay as Conductor, Tim Ogger as Trustee (3 years), and Jeff Gueli and Kay Pickup as Trustee (1 year). Congratulations to all on re-taining their post.

Annual dues will be coming up soon (May 31). Under the new constitution rules, if you do not pay your dues by June 30th you will be dropped from the rolls and have to go through the applica-tion process again as of July 1st. So make sure your

EAGLE RIDERS NEWS

We are now coming into our Steak Roast Season and the first one is May 11, 2018 at 5:00 PM. The Steak Roast will run to 8:00 PM or till we run out of steaks. Last year we did run out at our May Steak Roast. We will have potatoes, salad and dessert. Cash bar, and there will be soft drinks available at the bar.

Blessing of the bikes at St. Roch's Catholic Church in Flat Rock May 20, 2018 after the 11:30 mass. There will be a blessing of Bikers during the mass for those who attend. Bikes will be blessed about 12:30 PM, Dress as you ride but keep in mind it is a church and it is not the attire but the patches and stickers we are

talking about. I know I have a few vests and helmets with patches and stickers I would not wear to a church function. LOL Afterward those who want to view the bikes will be able to do so. Coffee, juice and donuts will be served.

Any body who has a motor cycle related event let us know and we will try to put it in the bulletin.

Thank you all.

THAT’S AMORE OUR CANCER FUNDRAISER WAS A HUGE SUCCESS. Thank you to our fearless leader Linda Combs with her none of this would have been possible. Thank you to all the volunteers who stepped up and help

make this event as successful as it was. Without you individuals we could never of have pulled this off.

Thank you to the Carr’s (Tammy & Jason) for coming to our event. It was an honor to meet you and to

learn about Chad. Thank you to all the companies, families and friends who donated the items for the

live and silent auctions. Thank you to the companies that donated the pizzas and desserts. Most of all

thank you to those who purchased tickets and opened their hearts and wallets for this cause, with-out you this fundraiser would not of have been the

success that it was. ~Toni Watkins
