Greetings to all members,

As the Aerie has re-opened, we hope you are all well and being safe!

ELECTION OF OFFICERS: Nominations were held at our June 10th meeting (delayed from April because we were closed). The following officers (all were unopposed) have been elected for the 2020-2021 term: Madam President Me (Ellen Wiebe), Madam Vice President Diana Schofield, Madam Secretary Rita Coberley, Madam Treasurer Verlene Wallace, Madam Conductor Holly Laker, Madam Inside Guard Paulette Drake, Madam Chaplain Linda Lewis, Madam Trustees Tracy Campoli, Mari Pick-ens and Kathryn Becker, and our Madam Past President will be Maxine Scott. After being installed at the end of June, new officers will officially begin at our July 8th meeting.

THANK YOU: A big thank you to our out-going Trustees Gerry Rochette and Lorraine Petrillo for all their contributions to the Auxiliary. It is ap-preciated! Also a special thanks to Kay Kohler and Rhoda Hann for their telephone campaign to those individuals who hadn’t yet renewed their membership. Great job!

CHARITY PRESENTATION: We were pleased to present $10,000 to Habitat for Humanity, our Valentine Dinner/Dance recipient. More presentations will be held in the future when other charity checks are received.

JULY EVENTS: The 11th at noon is the next Auxiliary initiation. (Because the first Saturday is the 4th we delayed it for one week. August initiation will be on the 1st) Friday the 17th is the Auxiliary Fish Fry (sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board). Our Auxiliary meetings are on the 8th and 22nd at 7 PM.

For your safety and others around you, please practice social distancing! Wearing a mask is ok! We want everyone to be safe.

Important Message for Dual Members

The door key will be changed on June 1, annually. Please include a copy of your home area membership card along with your check for $25 for Aerie or

$20 for Auxillary if mailed, and the same needs to accompany any renewals placed in the Secretary's door before you will receive an Aerie 4273 card

along with a door key card.

Greetings fellow Eagles, Dear Brothers, I'm happy to report that the Trustees have voted to open the Aerie for nor-mal business again with the exception that no alcohol may be consumed anywhere on Aerie property as directed by the State Worthy Presi-dent. We will have grill night Tuesday and Thursday with Homer Styles entertaining from 5:30 to 8 PM Tuesday and DJ entertainment on Thurs-day. Friday fish fry will be followed by entertain-ment by Copper Canyon for your dancing and listening pleasure. Bingo will resume Monday July 6th. Please pass the word on to members that do not have email.

Stay tuned for more news as it happens. Trus-tees will be discussing the possibility to resume Queen of Hearts and Shoots at their next meeting on Tuesday.

It would be greatly appreciated for everyone to

participate in the events that we plan. Without your

participation we cannot continue holding events. We

know that it is easy to sometime forget the rea-

son that Eagles exists, and just enjoy socializing,

and playing games..

Buying/Selling 50/50, and other tickets are an

important way of raising funds for our various

charities. We could use volunteers, even a day or

two per month would relieve those who always

step up, and get “burned out”” or discouraged.

Everything you do is greatly appreciated.

All Aerie members are always welcome to attend the

Monthy meetings: 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each

month at 7 PM (see the Calendar for any changes).

Free snacks, after the meeting, for those who attend

the meeting , Please check the calendar, Website, or

Bulletin Board for events, and any changes.
