Classes & Workshops
The Franklin Street Gallery and Gift Shop
features small class sizes for highly personal-
ized instruction, so please register early to
ensure your participation.
Enrollment is first come first served;
enrollment is official upon payment.
Registration may be completed by phone, in
person at the Franklin Street Gallery or by
completing the registration form and mailing to
the Franklin Street Gallery. Check, cash and
credit cards are accepted forms of payment.
Registration should be made no later than 48
hours before a class is scheduled to begin.
Class enrollment is assessed at this time, and
under-enrolled classes will be cancelled.
Non-attendance of an All Access class without
prior notice will remove the student from all
future classes.

Class fees will not be pro-rated or refunded in the event of student absence(s).
Cancellation of a class due to weather, instructor emergency, etc. may result in any of the following, at the discretion of Gallery management:

Wednesdays, May 13 & 20, June 3 & 17 Time: 1:30 - 2:30PM Instructor: Ann Harper
Learn hand-building techniques with clay using
the slab roller and the extruder to make
different shapes and forms. We will also be
learning different decorating techniques for
personalized projects. Basic shared tools,
limited amount of clay and glazes are included.

Digital Camera 101: Taking Better Pictures

New Camera? Learn camera basics and photography tech-
niques so you can take the best pictures possible. Bring your
camera and Steve will explain the confusing camera settings,
speeds, aperture, ISO and saving files.

Explore the beauty of Watkins Glen through the lens. Steve,
will explain how to digitally capture images during a town or
gorge walk about. followed by in-studio instruction on editing
methods. Beginners to professionals welcome to join this fun
event.
Photography All Access Art FREE classes for learning and creating art while meeting new people in your
community. All Access Art classes are one day classes available throughout the Summer.
Fun Drawing Techniques
Thursdays - May 7,14,21& 28 Time: 1:30 - 2:30PM Instructor: Lucretia West
Learn the fundamentals of sketching and draw-
ing. Lucretia will guide students through fun
exercises and techniques teaching: the compo-
nents of a picture, hard and soft lines, basic
shading, blending and layering. Develop your
artistic eye and draw with confidence. Ages 9
and up. Pre-registration is required.
Saturday Morning Watercolor
Each Saturday in June
Time: 9:30 - 11:30 AM Fee: $35/class
Instructor: Coralee Burch
Creating flowing watercolor images using unique meth-
ods like masking and pouring. This loose image can then
be enhanced with pen and ink or pastels for a beautiful
one of a kind creation. Coralee will demonstrate and
guide through the whole process.

Keep your tablet or smartphone safe in a custom de-
signed carrying case. Learn how to felt colorful wool
into fun designs on your made-to-size pouch. Add a
snap or strap for a finishing touch. All supplies provid-
ed. Come to one or both classes!

Polymer Clay Millefiori & Caning with Polymer Clay
Saturday, May 2
Time: 9:30-12:30 Fee: $25/class
Instructor: Cynthia Harrington Cratsley
Participants will use polymer clay to learn ancient
bead-making and cane-making techniques. Partici-
pants will create unique beads, a necklace and a vase
using the millefiori caning technique. All supplies pro-
vided.

Do you adore Glass jewelry, and wonder how it’s created?
Then this fun class is for you! Learn how you can make one-of-
a-kind jewelry. Cindy will demonstrate multiple techniques for
fusing glass. Each student will make 3 pendants (or pins) using
any of the techniques discussed. No glass working experience
required.
Fused Glass Sun Catcher Saturday, June 27 Time:12:00 - 3:00 PM
Instructor: Cindy Gronwall Fee: $80
Each student will make a personalized sun catcher using the
techniques of their choice. No glass working experience re-
quired. Supplies provided.
