Meaning • Safety is very critical for all members traveling in the sky
and in the ground membersExplanation • If the crew member do not know all the safety measure
they can not assist the travelers or passengers ExampleIf the cabin bins are not securely closed during turbulence
there is possibility for bags to fall on the people sitting down it is the responsibility of the cabin crew to ensure all cabin bins are securely closed
Service
Meaning• All services required by there airlines promise to the
customers need to be meet by the cabin crew membersExplanation• Service render by the cabin crew should be done
respectfully and honestly all issues need to be handle tactically
Example• If the customer needed a blanket or food beverages
cabin crew member have to provide them
Friendliness
Meaning• It’s the responsibility of the cabin crew members to show
some friendliness and kindness to all members on boardExplanation• We need to respond for each request in a friendly
manner Example• If the same passenger asks for water five times do not
be rude instead offer him a bottle of water In each situation be friendly instead of being aggressive
Grooming
Meaning• A cabin members should have hygienic and
good in appearance Explanation• Appearance speaks a lot and shows activeness Example• For 9 hours journey flight cabin crew member
should not become clumsy or tired by end of the journey for the travellers can be maintained if the cabin crew member are well groomed
Courageous
Meaning• having or characterized by courage or braveExplanation• Cabin crew member needs to be courageous in
all situations especially during emergencies Example• Sometimes there is heavy turbulence and there
possibilities for the traveler to panic if the role of the cabin crew to comfort and showing some courage like nothing has happened
Punctual
Meaning• Being on timeExplanation• Responsibility of cabin crew is to be punctual
and being on time they cannot cause the delaying of the flight
Example• There will be a lots of reasons why the flight can
be delayed but the delay of cabin crew should not be the reason for the flight delaying
