Who are we?Art of Aquaria is Australia’s leading company supplying fully serviced Rental Aquariums and Ongoing Maintenance for client owned aquariums in offices, waiting rooms, aged care facilities and homes. We love creating stunning aquariums to enhance any environment. Our business model is simple, we supply, install and manage the care of stunning aquariums. All the customer has to do is admire and enjoy the fish.

Easily operated by one person with no formal qualifications required, Art of Aquaria offers a great opportunity to become a part of rental based franchise business where the clients pay a fixed

monthly rental. This means you have reoccurring revenue and can build up your client base over time.

Established in 2005 we have tried and tested our systems and now we are ready to find like-minded owner operators who have drive and passion to establish their very own Art of Aquaria Territory and in doing so expand the Art of Aquaria brand. STEP 1 Send us an enquiry

STEP 2Art of Aquaria gets in touch and sends you a Franchise Brochure, Franchise Application Form, Confidentiality Agreement and Franchise Information Statement

STEP 3You read through the brochure and fill in the Franchise Application Form and sign the Confidentiality Agreement and then send it back to Art of Aquaria

STEP 4We meet to get to know each other better and answer any questions you might have. If your application is approved we move to the due diligence phase

STEP 5You conduct your due diligence and reserve your territory with fully refundable territory holding deposit of $5000

STEP 6 You make your final choice

If after the due diligence you choose to proceed you go to step no 7

If you choose NOT to proceed we refund the $5000 and that is the end of the process.

STEP 7The Franchise Agreement is customised for you, it’s signed, fees paid, fit out and training commences

STEP 8You are ready for business as the new franchisee of your very own Art of Aquaria Business

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow much does it cost to buy a Art of Aquaria Franchise?The cost depends on the exact location and whether it’s an established or new territory. A new territory starts at $45 000 + GST + working capital of $10 000 and an existing territory starts at $113 000 + GST + working capital of $10 000.

What do I get for my franchise fee?You get the right to operate as a Art of Aquaria franchisee in a franchise territory for a period of 5 years with another 5 year option to renew. You will register your own business trading as Art of Aquaria (territory name). If you opt to renew in 5 years there are no additional franchise charges. For your franchise fee you also receive all the training you require and operational, marketing and other support you need to operate your business.

What type of work will I be doing?You will be delivering and installing aquariums for new clients and maintaining existing aquariums for current clients. Each aquarium is serviced on a 15 day cycle.

What skills and experience do I need?You don’t require any formal qualifications but you do need to have an eye for detail, take pride in your work,

be organised, have practical skills and be good with people.

How much money will I make?The short answer is that depends on you. We can’t predict what a franchisee is going to earn, however we can tell you that we have a great business with a sought after service.

On average aquariums rent between $190 + GST and $220 + GST per month (depending on type and size). A single territory can have up to 100 rented aquariums at any one time.

Why do I need to pay a refundable deposit before I have examined the business fully? Providing all the information you need to evaluate the opportunity and making the right decision for you requires a lot of time from a lot of people. So we need to know that you are genuinely serious about the opportunity.

Rest assured however, that your deposit is fully refundable should you decide not to proceed.

Do you have franchise territories available near me?We have franchises available in most capital cities and are willing to open up new opportunities in large regional centres.
