LES VERBES REGULIERS EN –ER AU PRESENT
+LES GROUPES DE VERBES EN FRANCAIS
In the French language, just like any other language, there are regular verbs and irregular verbs.
Regular verbs are conjugated the same way by adding the same ending to the verb.
For example aimer and parler are regular verbs conjugated the same way because of how they end.
+LES VERBES EN -ER
Regular verbs in the French language are divided into three main groups. These groups are mainly identified by the ending of the verbs.
These endings are –er like the verb (aimer), -ir like the verb (finir) and –re like the verb (vendre)
WE WILL ONLY FOCUS ON THE VERBS ENDING IN –ER TODAY.
PARLER, MANGER, DANSER…
+LA CONJUGAISON: CONJUGATION To conjugate regular –er verbs in the present, we get
rid of the -er from the infinitive form of the verb and add the endings for the different subject pronouns.
These endings are:
For je, we add –e
For tu, we add –es
For il/elle/on, we add –e
For nous, we add –ons
For vous, we add –ez
For ils/elles, we add –ent (silent not pronounced)
