I n t h i s publication of the series I intend to present 4-54 data r e f e r r i n g to 142 species of Pyrencmycetes. Por the majority of these data the names of the c o l l e c t o r s and determinators are not indicated either,the c o l l e c t i o n having been made by myself. Por the material collected by others and determined by myself, I give here, i n addition to the c o l l e c t o r name, my own name as w e l l . I n certain cases I put down also the results obtained i n the course of the revision I made on the material previously determined by others. In these cases the abbreviation „rev." means that the o r i g i n a l determination i s always correct, the a l t e r a t i o n of the name i n i t i a t e d here may be advisable because of certain nomenclatural rules at most, e.g. Xylaria-Xylosphae-ra; „det." indicated that the former name was the r e s u l t of a wrong determination, and so I have determined the material as to be another species.

The materials serving f o r base of the data presented here are to be found at Department of Botany, Museum of Natural History, Budapest, and, f o r minor part, i n the herbarium of the Micro­b i o l o g i c a l I n s t i t u t e , Eötvös-University, Budapest.
