What’s changed at FPWA?
• Quarry (under 25)
– new location
– 170 Aberdeen St, Northbridge
– Tel 9227 1444
• Northbridge Clinic
– Some reduction in clinic hours
– ONLY accepting clients for contraception, unplanned pregnancy, Pap smears and STIs
– Drop-in appointments in clinics have been introduced
– Planning same-day IUD inserts later this year
What’s changed clinically?
• STIs
– Altered management of gonorrhoea
– Now ceftriaxone 500mg IM in 2ml of 1% lignocaine PLUS oral azithromycin 1g stat

What’s changed clinically?
• Contraception
– Increasing use of Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC)
– Nurse Implanon insertion clinics
– IUD training clinics for interested GPs (1-2 clinics for previous inserters, 3-5 clinics for no previous training)
