Sloped GlazingNZS 4223: 1985 clause 103.11.1 states

"Sloped glazing is a term applied to glazing that is sloped more than 15 degrees from thevertical" and "Grade A safety glass shall be used on all sloped and overhead glazing."

It is recommended that laminated glazing be used in lieu of toughened for safety reasons.If broken the PVB interlayer will prevent disintegration and also act as a preventativebarrier against penetration. However 6mm laminate should not exceed 700mm width.
