The Appeal supports the many programs that nurture our faith through each stage of spiritual development in 12 Ministry Offices, which include: Adult Faith Formation, Family Life/Respect Life, Hispanic Ministry, Black Ministry, Liturgy, University Apostolate, Prison Apostolate, Young Adult Outreach, Youth Ministry, and Hospital Apostolate. Your gift will help sustain these vital programs. Cardinal’s Appeal pledge envelopes may be found at the doors of the church. To date 69 parishioner pledges total $18,715. Thank you for your prayerful consideration and support Next week is April’s Brown Bag Sunday. Today for your convenience we are again providing brown paper bags, available at all three entrances to the church. Each bag will have a suggested shopping list attached. All food donations should be non-perishable, nothing should be in glass containers and no expired items should be included. For those wishing to make a monetary donation, checks should be made payable to Food Bank for Westchester and placed in the basket at the altar next week or given to the volunteer in the community room. The O.L.S. School Scholastic Book Fair in the school cafeteria will conclude this Sunday, April 22nd after all morning Masses. “This is a wonderful opportunity to buy great books for your children and get a head start on summer reading lists, as well as to raise money for O.L.S. School.”

Our Lady's Guild invites all to join them Sunday, April 29th after the 12 noon Mass in the community

room, as they host Christine Banker, author of the new children's book "We All Have a God Light." The book talks to children about God, His love for us and how we

A Bereavement Support Group will meet every Monday through June 4, 2018 from 1:00-2:30pm in the rectory at St. Augustine Church, 18 Cherry Ave. in Larchmont, NY. The sessions are facilitated by Sr. Muriel Cooney, O.P. and Chaplain Rosemary Parandelis. The healing process of mourning takes time, energy and patience. Recently a new council of the Knights of Columbus has been founded in White Plains called Holy Cross Council #16838. To date it has added almost 50 new members from many parishes in our area to this outstanding international organization. The Knights serve Holy Mother Church through philanthropy, action and faith. They encourage all Catholic men, aged 18 or over, to consider joining. If you are interested in learning more about the Knights, please join them every third Wednesday night for an informal social gathering held in the basement of St. John’s Church or in the basement of Our Lady of Mt. Catholic Widows & Widowers is a social and spiritual group which meets monthly at the Church of St. Pius X, 91 Secor Road in Scarsdale to honor their deceased spouses with Mass at 7pm in the main church followed by a meeting with refreshments.
