3RD QUARTER IN REVIEW Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

We had a great time on our overnight casino trip. We had a rest stop at McDonalds in Fort Smith that had a hostess like none other. She greeted us as we walked in the door with a song and serenaded us during our stay. She even got on the bus before we left to tell us bye. They sure have a jewel of an employee in her. Once we arrived we all headed our separate ways. The casino was unique in that it had rock star memorabilia on display.

The next day we headed back to Conway but took the scenic route getting out of Tulsa. Our bus driver failed to get directions back to the turnpike and we met ourselves coming and going a few times before we got on the right road. We all returned with a smile on our face and laughter in our heart. Memories made together are the best kind.

Goldstrike Casino (day trip) Once again we all enjoyed a fun filled day trip to Tunica. We had donuts and coffee to start the morning off. We played a few games of Bingo on the way down. Our trip included a buffet lunch and $5 in playing money. I wish I would have cashed in right then and I would have come out ahead but as usual I left a little over there. Hey, that’s why we go, right? We all had a great time and can’t wait to go again. Join us next year!

Italian Lakes and Greek Islands Featuring a 7-night Eastern Mediterranean Cruise Featuring a 7-night Eastern Mediterranean Cruise Featuring a 7-night Eastern Mediterranean

What a wonderful time we had on this trip. We started with a day of leisure in the resort town of Stressa, Italy. To the delight of several of the men, the Italian Grand Prix boat racing was taking place in the lake right across from our hotel. While the women shopped the men were able to enjoy world class boat racing. Our tour officially started the next day with a beautiful boat tour of Lake Como. That evening we enjoyed another boat ride on Lago Maggiore and had dinner on fisherman’s island. Day 4 we headed to Venice to board our cruise ship, the Costa Fortuna, our home for the next 7 nights. Over the next week

we visited historic sites like Olympia Greece, home to the first Olympics and beautiful resorts islands like Santorini and Mykonos. We had the opportunity to explore the ancient city of Dubrovnik, Croatia. This beautiful city is surrounded by a 1,000 year old protective wall. After disembarking we enjoyed a glass blowing demonstration from a master glass blower at the famous Murano Glass. Then a local expert provided us with a walking tour of Venice highlighting St. Marks’ Basilica, The Clock Tower, and the famous Bridge of Sighs. We returned with memories of a life time and many new friendships that will last a life time.
