Flexible Products (EZ-Flex / Chem-Flex)

Two flexible urethane syntactic formulations that have natural woodgrain textureand real wood appearance provide low cost alternatives to expensive traditionalwood radius mouldings. These tough flexible profiles can be painted or stained tomatch your existing décor.

EZ-Flex (interior/exterior applications) provides a harder surface than standardChem-Flex and can be cut, sanded and shaped using typical woodworking toolsensuring a perfect fit. Chem-Flex (interior applications only) can be used on any radius or curved applica-tion where wood will not bend.

Expanded Polyvinyl Chloride (eP.V.C.)

This low maintenance extruded cellular ePVC material can be nailed, sawn, routed,milled, glued and painted using standard wood working methods. The high cellulardensity provides the strength and rigidity of wood without the worry of decay.

Glassfiber Reinforced Polymer (F.R.P.)

With almost limitless possibilities, this material can recreate the most complexshapes for historical accuracy and is corrosion resistant, dimensionally stable, light-weight and high strength. Glassfiber Reinforced Gypsum (G.R.G.)

These non-combustible interior products are advantageous over traditional heaviercast products and are installed using typical drywall methods. A contemporaryreplacement for plaster details of past artisans.

Pre-Coated Expanded Polystyrene (E.P.S.)

Factory controlled application of cementitious / mesh (dynacrete) basecoat is bothlightweight and easy to install. This provides labor cost savings of up to 50% overconventional site coated mouldings. E.P.S. products also provide design flexibilityfor one-off custom shapes for themed environments, signage and three-dimension-al elements.

High Density Polyurethane (H.D.P.)

A very durable virtually maintenance free wood replacement that will not crack, rotor split and can easily be installed using standard woodworking tools (Class 1A fire-rated product available). A: In South Florida, a lot of people use styrofoam... Chemcrest’s high densitypolyurethane millwork is dramatically superior to the typical styrofoam appliqué. Webuilt this building for ourselves... we wanted to build a good building, so we pickedChemcrest’s high quality no rot urethane.

The variety of product was amazing... we figured if Chemcrest could do all that andstay within our budget, then we’ve really got something here. We were looking forlongevity too, due to our hotel being right on the ocean... we needed rot and rustresistance... a product that was impervious to mother nature... now we just hose it down like a ship.

Chemcrest’s decorative ceiling elements include rings, rosettes, medallions, surface mounted domes,and recessed fiberglass ceiling domes. Made from high density polyurethane, Chemcrest’s medallionsare dense but light-weight and easy to install. Crown a dining room or foyer with a highly detailedChemcrest medallion or surface mounted dome. Chemcrest’s recessed fiberglass domes ensure agrand statement with or without a lighting fixture.

Consider adding a matching crown mould to further enhance your room décor. Suggestions for match-ing mouldings with medallions are provided on select medallion styles – or reference Chemcrest’sextensive Mouldings Section.

Every medallion is manufactured using mould technology that gives each one sharp, crisp undercutsand corners that replicate the wood carved originals. Whatever your application, Chemcrest has abeautiful, highly detailed medallion to suit your particular need.

Styles come and go, but columns have stayed in fashion for over 3000 years. The only changes incolumns over the past number of years have been the types of material they have been made from.Today, the best columns are made by Chemcrest.

Our porch posts are structural and our decorative columns easily conceal existing unsightly supportposts or pipes already in place. Structural columns are also available. In every case, Chemcrest’scolumns and porch posts are more durable than wood and do not require the continuous mainte-nance or rot repair that wood products demand.

Chemcrest’s columns come in a variety of styles: smooth, fluted, paneled, straight, rope, tapered, roundand boxed. Add one of our crowns or capitals and bases to further enhance the look.

Our plant stands have the same column look to them. Add a decorative cap and base to beautify a cor-ner or hold a treasured memento such as a picture or vase.

Polyurethane products are easy to work with and are cut and installed much like wood products. Theycan be painted with either a quality latex or an oil based paint following the manufacturer’s instruc-tions, or stain our woodgrain products for wood replication. Polyurethane products can also be fauxfinished for an entirely unique look that is all your own. Use Chemcrest’s decorative accents as suggest-ed or dream up something entirely new.

Choose from hundreds of combinations of crossheads, pediments, sunbursts, and pilasters to accentu-ate your windows and doors. Pediment styles include Acorn Pediments, Peaked Pediments, HorizonPediments, and Ramshead Pediments, where window accents include standard arches, eyebrow arches,sunbursts, and any crosshead or pediment style. Make dramatic and beautiful accents to your exterior façade with functional or decorative Chemcrestpolyurethane louvers. Available in a large variety of shapes and sizes, wood grain and smooth textures,we can supply the perfect louver for your application.

Our functional louvers are moulded with fixed open slats to provide the necessary ventilation for yourattic or airspace. Rear fiberglass screening prevents unwanted pests from entering your home.

Chemcrest is proud of its craftspeople who have been able to create almost every custom designrequested by our valued customers. As a result, over the years some truly unique moulds have beenproduced in our pattern shop. The collections of details that follow are only a small representation ofsome of those new mould designs, which are now being released in our standard products catalogueso that all our valued customers can purchase them.

Fireplace surrounds by Chemcrest include a mantle and pilasters to enhance any fireplace. All of thecomponents of a Chemcrest fireplace surround may be modified in our factory to ensure a perfect fitfor your fireplace project. Please specify exact dimensions and call for pricing. All fireplace surroundsare woodgrained.

Chemcrest offers hundreds of moulding profiles for either interior or exterior use. The intricate detail ofour patterns, combined with crisp clean lines, is what sets Chemcrest mouldings apart from the compe-tition. Chemcrest also produces one of the highest density products in the industry.

Chemcrest mouldings are available in most of our materials including High Density Polyurethane, FlexUrethane, F.R.P., and G.R.G. Some profiles are also available in our basecoated EPS foam material.

Chemcrest also offers moulded “inside” and “outside” corners for a number of profiles. Our woodgrainprofiles, when stained, replicate the beauty of natural wood without the normal rotting and crackingassociated with it. Chemcrest polyurethane mouldings are lightweight and far easier to install than tra-ditional plaster and cast products of yesterday. A factory applied primer is standard on all products,though on site, finishing is required. Chemcrest can also coat all products to achieve a Class 1A fire rating.

Use a Chemcrest wall niche in a foyer, stairwell, hallway, or beside a fireplace to display a treasured arti-fact or a beautiful floral arrangement. Often, a niche becomes the focal point of a room much like apiece of furniture or collected artwork. Uses of niches include displaying awards and trophies, or inbathrooms where perfumes, candles, baskets of soaps, and potpourri can be displayed.

All of our niche designs may be easily installed using carpenter tools, a cutting template (included), andby following the detailed instructions. Please refer to our wall niche Sizing Chart for detailed nichemeasurements.

For added embellishment, select niches are supplied with a translucent lexan sill panel to allow for bot-tom backlighting. The customer then adds an internal wall mounted light fixture to provide illumina-tion. For added strength or non-combustibility, most of our niche models are also available in G.R.G.material.

Now you can achieve the timeless look and beauty of cedar shakes with Chemcrest’s Cedar Motif™Siding, a long lasting cedar alternative. Polyurethane siding is lightweight and easy to cut and fasten,but durable enough to stand up to the elements.

Available in three shake patterns – traditional fishscale, octagonal and square. Polyurethane panels aremoulded from real cedar shakes to give a truly authentic look. Each panel has interlocking edges tohide unsightly seams. Double primed, six foot wide by three foot high sheets are easy to handle andquickly cover approximately 18 square feet of area. All styles are paintable and stainable to accentuatethe classic elements of any building.
