The water cycle has no real beginning orend. Water in oceans, lakes, and plantschanges into water vapor and seemsto vanish rom the earth. This is calledevaporation. The water vapor cools intotiny droplets which then orm clouds. Thisis called condensation. When the cloudsbecome heavy with these droplets, they
all back to the earth as rain, snow, orsleet. Precipitation is the name or thispart o the cycle, which then continues.

I someone says, Dont look a git horsein the mouth, that person doesnt reallythink you will receive a horse or try to
open its mouth and look inside. In orderto understand what this idiom means itsnecessary to know two things. First, a longtime ago, people were sometimes givena horse as a git. Second, it is possibleto tell how old a horse is by counting itsteeth. I a person was given a horse andthen counted its teeth it was consideredimpolite. This evolved into the currentidiom which means when you receivesomething dont be ungrateul.
