» New: Must be a new installation or an upgrade;
» Centralized: Must allow centralized control of power management settings;
» Retained: May need to be kept operational for a fixed period from the initial installation date and further provide some evidence of this commitment;
» Qualified: May need to be from a vendor that is approved on a Qualifying Software List maintained by the utility or other third party organization;
» Reporting-Capable: Must have reporting capabilities for monitoring and validation of the energy savings, and must also provide the ability to catalog the systems and locations under power management control
