fostering creativity in elementary schools
DESCRIPTION
n this project we are trying to Foster Creativity and Creative thinking in an elementary school's students while looking their teacher as the main change agent and their parents as the other agent. We train teachers to how develop their student's creativity by changing their teaching styles, assessment strategies, class environment and treating with students questions and mistakes. We teach them about creative thinking basics, sources and obstacles of creative thinking, techniques they could use to change their classroom life environment and teaching methods and each session they share their experiences with each others and we lead them to improve their activities effectiveness. In the other hand we provide some user friendly stories for their parents in order to change their attitude about their kid's talents, key success factors and in advance how to support their teachers in developing students creative thinking. Furthermore we look to create a more creative space in their school not only in their classrooms which supports novelty and more flexibility in students collective activities.TRANSCRIPT
