Totally new for tough thinning operationsThe new John Deere 1010E Forwarder completes the John Deere midsized forwarder family with 11-metric-ton load capacity, 156 SAE hp (115.5 kW) of maximum power, the robust CF5 boom, new axles and tire sizes, as well as the standard E-Series improvements. It’s your ideal choice for tough thinning operations. Revolutionary new features include a rotating and leveling cabin and TimberMatic™ automation for clear 360-degree visibility for safer, more ergo-nomic log loading.

The 1010E moves effortlessly in all terrains, effectively minimizing surface pressure and ground impact with advanced transmission technology. Available in six- and eight-wheel versions, the 1010E is ideally suited to all thinning operations and regeneration felling.

Smooth, accurate and automatic cabin leveling provides a totally new driving experience at even higher speeds to get the job done faster. Driving is now more continuous and much smoother,

increasing the wear life of all other powertrain components, thanks to the VarioSpeed™ step-less transmission, an exclusive option for E-Series Forwarders.

The 1010E is powered by a 4.5-liter John Deere PowerTech™ Plus engine with high torque at low rpm. You can adjust machine control and settings through new TimberMatic F-09 automation — or when the machine is not PC-equipped through the CommandCenter™ control display. The unique John Deere TimberLink™ machine performance follow-up and optimization tool lets you track operating costs and track machine performance. Daily maintenance is reduced via the new hydraulic fan, which reverses automatically to clean dust and debris out of the engine cooler.
