SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 1. To avoid electric shock, risk of fire or injury, please read the user manual carefully before using

the appliance and keep it for future reference.

2. This appliance is for household use only. Please use suitable power source.

3. Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

4. Do not use the appliance under direct sunshine.

5. Please turn off the appliance when not in use otherwise it may result in danger.

6. Please turn off the appliance and unplug the socket when unattended otherwise it may result in

danger.

7. Keep the appliance away from children.

8. The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,

sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given

supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

9. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

10. With any indication of damage or malfunction, please stop using the appliance immediately to

avoid hazards. Take it to / Contact the authorized service center for repair. Do not attempt to repair

or change any parts by yourself.

11. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or

similarly qualified persons in order to avoid hazards.

12. Please turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning or maintenance.

13. Clean the surface of the appliance with dry cloth. Do not use corrosive detergent or solvent to

clean. Do not swash the appliance with water.

14. Please turn off and unplug the appliance when not in use. Make sure the power is off before

pulling out the plug. Do not pull the cord.

15. When the appliance is not in use for a prolonged period, please turn it off, unplug it, pack it well

and store it in dry cool place.

16. Forbid to put flammable and explosive objects around the appliance, and do not use the appliance

in an environment full of flammable gas and powder. Keep away from any fire and heat sources.

17. The appliance generates high temperature steam. Always handle with care and warn other users of

the potential dangers.

18. Unwind and straighten the power cord before use.

19. Place the appliance on a firm and steady surface.

20. The iron must be used and rested on a flat and stable surface.

21. Avoid power cord touches the soleplate.

22. When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which the stand is placed is stable.

23. The plug must be removed from the socket before the water reservoir is filled with water.

24. Empty the water tank after use.

25. Do not add perfume, vinegar or other chemical liquids into the water tank; they can damage the

appliance seriously.

26. Do not use the appliance when it is damaged or performs abnormally.

27. The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is

leaking.

28. Do not touch the soleplate during rest or right after ironing to avoid injury by heat.

29. Do not roll the power cord round the appliance or base for storage until it is cooled down

completely.

30. The iron must not be left unattened while it is connected to the supply mains.

31. Do not touch the surfaces marked with symbol during operation or rest to avoid injury by

heat. (Please refer to the following Figure 1 and Figure 2)

OPERATION INSTRUCTION 1. Sort out the articles to be ironed according to the type of fabric. This will minimize the frequency

of temperature adjustment for different garments.

2. Test ironing a small area on the backside or inside of the garment if you are unsure about the type

of fabric. Start with a low temperature and increase gradually.

3. Temperature adjustment needs certain time to reach the required level no matter it is higher or

lower. Wait for about three minutes before ironing heat sensitive fabrics.

4. Delicate fabrics such as silk, wool, velour, and etc. are best ironed with an ironing cloth to prevent

shine marks.

5. Read the garment labels and follow the manufacturer’s ironing instructions that are often shown

by below symbols:

HOW TO FILL WATER

This iron has horizontal filling option.

1. Disconnect the iron from the socket.

2. Move the steam control knob to position.

3. Open the water inlet cover as in Figure 3.

4. Fill water through the water inlet hole upto 'MAX' position of the water tank.

5. Close the water inlet cover and wipe out any spillages on the iron.

Note: For best result, please use de-mineralized water or distilled water.

Do not use chemically de-scaled water or any other liquids.

FIRST TIME IRONING

1. Remove any protective films or stickers from the sole plate and the iron body.

2. Unwind and straighten the power cord.

3. Fill the iron as described in the section of “How To Fill Water”.

4. Connect the iron to a suitable socket.

5. Turn the temperature dial in clockwise direction to (max) position; pilot light will glow to

indicate that the iron is heating up.

6. Pilot light will go off when the required temperature is reached.

7. Move the steam control knob to position; steam starts to come out from the vents on

soleplate.

8. Begin first time ironing with an old towel.

9. When the water tank is empty and there is no more steam can be produced, it means the

preparation work is completed and the iron is ready for proper use.

SPRAY

This function can be used at any time and it does not affect other functions.

1. Fill the iron as described in the section of “How To Fill Water”.

2. Aim the nozzle to the garment.

3. Press the spray button.

Note: It may be necessary to press the spray button a few times to start the function.

DRY IRONING

1. Connect the iron with a suitable socket.

2. Move the steam control knob to position.

3. Turn the temperature dial in clockwise direction, select ‘●’ (1 dot), ‘●●’ (2 dots) or ‘●●●’ (3

dots) according to the recommendation of the garment label.

4. Pilot light will glow to indicate that the iron is heating up.

5. The pilot light will go off when the required temperature is reached.

6. The iron is ready to use.

7. After used, turn the temperature dial in anti-clockwise direction to ‘MIN’ position

8. Disconnect the iron from the socket.

9. When the iron gets cool completely, store it vertically in a safe place.

STEAM IRONING

1. Fill the iron as described in the section of "How To Fill Water".

2. Connect the iron with a suitable socket.

3. Turn the temperature dial in clockwise direction to position

and move the steam control knob to position.

(Do not use 1 dot or 2 dots setting for steam ironing).

4. Pilot light will glow to indicate that the iron is heating up.

5. Pilot light will go off when the required temperature is reached.

6. The iron is ready for use.

7. Adjust steaming by moving the steam control knob forward and backward.

8. After used, turn the temperature dial in anti-clockwise direction to ‘MIN’ position.

9. Disconnect the iron from the socket.

10. Follow the instructions in “Emptying the Water Tank” after every use.

11. When the iron gets cool completely, store it vertically in a safe place.

A. Burst of steam in horizontal position

This function provides extra amount of steam to remove stubborn wrinkles.

1. Fill the iron as described in the section of “How To Fill Water”.

2. Connect the iron with a suitable socket.

3. Turn the temperature dial knob to (max) position.

4. Pilot light will glow to indicate that the iron is heating up.

5. Pilot light will go off when the required temperature is reached.

6. The iron is ready for use.

7. Press the burst of the steam button.

8. Steam will penetrate into the garment to remove the wrinkles.

9. Wait for few seconds before pressing the burst of steam button again

when there are stubborn wrinkles.

Note: It may be necessary to press the burst of steam button few times to start this function. For

optimum steam quality, do not operate the burst of steam more than three times in succession.

B. Burst of steam in vertical position

Warning: Do not apply steam on any clothes or fabrics that are being worn by human or pets.

Temperature of steam is very high.

This function provides extra amount of steam to remove wrinkles on delicate garments in hanging

position, hanging curtains, or other hanging fabrics.

1. Fill the iron as described in the section of ‘How To Fill Water’.

2. Connect the iron with a suitable socket.

3. Turn the temperature dial knob to (max) position.

4. Pilot light will glow to indicate that the iron is heating up.

5. Pilot light will go off when the required temperature is reached.

6. The iron is ready for use.

7. Hold the iron vertically between 15-30 centimeters away from the garment.

8. Press the burst of steam button.

9. Steam will penetrate into the garment to remove wrinkles.

10. Wait for few seconds before pressing the burst of steam button again when there are stubborn

winkles.

Note: It may be necessary to press the burst of steam button few times to start this function. For

optimum steam quality, do not operate the Burst of steam more than three times in succession.

SELF-CLEANING

This function removes the scales and minerals built up in the iron, and remains unit in the best

condition if this function is performed at least once a month or more regularly depending on the

hardness of the water used.

1. Fill the iron as described in the section of ‘How To Fill Water’. Fill the water tank up to half.

2. Set the steam control knob to position.

3. Place the iron on a stable surface in upright standing position.

4. Connect the iron with a suitable socket.

5. Turn the temperature dial in clockwise direction to (max) position.

6. Pilot light will glow to indicate the iron is heating up.

7. Pilot light will go off when the required temperature is reached.

8. Wait for one next heating cycle; pilot light will glow and go off.

9. Turn the temperature dial in anti-clockwise direction to ‘MIN’ position.

10. Disconnect the iron from the socket.

11. Hold the iron horizontally over a sink.

12. Move and hold the Self-Cleaning knob to position.

13. Steam and boiling hot water will emit from the holes on the sole plate which contains scales and

minerals that deposited in steam chamber in previous uses.

14. Gently move the iron back and forth until the water tank is empty.

15. When self-cleaning is completed, release the self-cleaning knob.

16. Rest your steam iron back on its heel rest and allow it to fully cool down.

17. Wipe the soleplate with a cold damp cloth.

Caution: Keep skin/body away from the hot water and hot surface of the iron.

ANTI-DRIP

1. Anti-drip system is designed to prevent the water escapes from

the soleplate automatically when the iron is too cold.

2. During use, the anti drip system may emit a loud clicking sound,

particularly during heat-up or whilst cooling down. This is normal

and indicates that the system is functioning correctly.

BUILD-IN ANTI-SCALE SYSTEM

The built-in anti-scale cartridge is designed to reduce the build-up of lime scale which occurs

during steam ironing. This will prolong the working life of your iron.

Note: The anti-scale cartridge will not completely stop the natural process of lime scale build-up.

EMPTYING THE WATER TANK

1. Disconnect the iron from socket.

2. Move the steam control knob to position.

3. Open the water inlet cover and remove water from water tank as (Figure 9).

4. Shake it to remove any remaining water out of the filling hole.

5. When the iron gets cool completely, store it vertically in a safe place.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTION CLEANING THE IRON

1. Disconnect the iron from the socket and allow the iron gets cool completely.

2. Use a dry cloth or non-scratching cleaner to remove any deposits on the soleplate or the iron

body.

Note: 1. Never use sharp or rough objects to remove the deposits on the soleplate.

2. Never use any abrasive, vinegar or descaling agents to clean the iron.

TROUBLESHOOTING If the iron does not perform well, please check the following points.

Problem Possible Causes Solutions

The iron is plugged in but the

soleplate is cold.

Socket does not work. Plug into another socket.

There is a connection problem. Check if the plug is connected

to the wall socket properly.

The temperature has been set

to' MIN' position.

Turn the temperature dial to the

required temperature.

No steam comes out.

There may not be enough water in

the water tank.

Fill the water tank,see “HOW

TO FILL THE WATER”.

Steam knob is in position.

Turn the steam control knob

to position.

No steam burst comes out.

There may not be enough water in

the water tank.
