This section first appeared in the September 1966 issue (Vol. 23, No. 1), where it was announced that semi-annual lists of "Forthcoming Reprints of Music and Musical Literature" will appear regularly in the September and March issues. Because complete lists of all forthcoming reprints would probably be more confusing than helpful if they appeared every six months, the

publishers were asked to supply, for this issue, only new announcements and revisions of their announcements in the September issue. The same plan will

probably be adopted for future appearances of this section. The revisions reported by the publishers concern chiefly publication dates;

there are a few price changes and a couple of cancellations. The list of new announcements consists of 106 works; prices are given for 95 of them, and their total sum is $18,546.00 (figured at subscription discounts).
