    Native 64-bit Application

Atoll as well as all its components and modules

are native 64-bit applications with no restric-

tions on project size and memory usage. Atollprovides limitless possibilities and enhanced

performance in demanding situations such as

    multi-technology Monte Carlo simulations as

well as urban and network-wide predictions.

    Atoll 64-bit architecture allows operators

to cope with complex multi-technology networks, and to

    successfully deal with the

    dramatic increase in

    network density

    expected with theadvent of HetNets

    and small cells.

    HighPerformanceGIS

    Atoll incorporates

    a high-perfor-

    mance built-in

    geographic informa-

    tion system (GIS) exclu-

sively designed for radionetwork planning and optimi-

    sation. Atolls 64-bit GIS engine

    allows working with high-resolution

and large-scale geo data while delivering high

performance in data manipulation and display.Atoll supports web map services, online map

servers (Google, Bing, etc.), and industry-

standard formats including BIL, TIF, BMP,

Vertical Mapper, ArcView, MapInfo, etc. Atoll

smoothly interfaces with commonly useddesktop GIS such as MapInfo and ArcView.

    Multi-technology NetworkModelling

    Atoll is a comprehensive multi-technology

radio planning and optimisation platform whichincludes unified multi-technologyGSM/UMTS/LTE (3GPP) and CDMA/LTE

(3GPP2) traffic models, Monte Carlo simula-

tors, and ACP (Automatic Cell Planning)

module. Atoll can model the traffic-

    related aspects of multi-

    technology networks anddynamically spread and

    offload traffic between

    mul t i - t echno logy

    Hetnet layers inclu-

    ding Wi-Fi andsmall cells.

    In-builtAutomationand Custo-

    misationCapabilities

    Atolls in-built task

    automation and integra-

    tion capabilities enable data

    as well as service-level integra-

tion, allowing operators to automateand streamline network optimisation activities

on the way to SON. Atolls data exchange and

    integration capabilities enable integration

    within service-oriented architectures (SOA) and

    enterprise service buses (ESB). Moreover,

Atolls C++ software development kit (SDK)allows customisation and implementation of

    functional value-added modules for Atoll.

    64BIT

    Highlights

Atoll uniquely combines architectural and functional features that provide operators with a powerful,

scalable and flexible framework for streamlining their network design and optimisation processes.

Atoll includes a powerful and flexible GSM AFP module that is being used by a

large number of operators worldwide. It is based on sophisticated optimisation

techniques and includes advanced features such as combined

automatic/interactive frequency planning and optimisation of TRX allocationvs. interference conditions.

The Atoll GSM AFP module allows combining multiple interference matrices

generated from predictions and real network data.

Atoll also includes dedicated LTE, WiMAX, and Wi-Fi AFP modules that support

    technology-specific allocation features.

Atoll includes advanced multi-technology Automatic Cell Planning (ACP)

modules implemented as integrated functions available from the standard

Atoll user interface. All ACP data and results are stored in the Atoll project files

    and databases.

The seamless integration of the radio planning and optimisation featuresprovides a direct return on investment from using the Atoll ACP.

Atoll ACP is available for GSM, UMTS, LTE, CDMA2000, WiMAX, and Wi-Fi.

It supports combined GSM/UMTS/LTE and CDMA2000/LTE optimisation.

    About us

Forsk is an independent company providing

    radio planning and optimisation software

solutions to the wireless industry since 1987.

In 1997, Forsk released the first version of Atoll,

its flagship radio planning software. Since then,

Atoll has evolved to become a comprehensiveradio planning and optimisation platform and,

with more than 5000 installed licenses world-wide, has reached the leading position on the

global market. Atoll combines engineering and

automation functions that enable operators to

    smoothly and gradually implement SON

    processes within their organisation.

Today, Forsk is a global supplier with over 300

customers in 100 countries and strategic

partnerships with major players in the industry.

Forsk distributes and supports Atoll directly

from offices and technical support centres inFrance, USA, and China as well as through a

worldwide network of distributors and partners.

    Forsk at your side

Since the first release of Atoll, Forsk has been

known for its capability to deliver tailored and

turn-key radio planning and optimisationenvironments based on Atoll.

To help operators streamline their radio planning

and optimisation processes, Forsk provides acomplete range of implementation services,

including integration with existing ITinfrastructure, automation, as well as data

    migration, installation, and training services.
