The San Antonio Tecosystem – An independent, locally focused,

technology council designed to be a voice and advocate for the

tech industry in San Antonio and surrounding areas.

What is a Tecosystem? ecosystem / noun, Ecology / [ek-oh-sis-tuh m] –

a system, or a group of interconnected elements, formed by the interaction of a community of organisms with their environment.

tecosystem / noun, Technology / [tek-oh-sis-tuh m] –a unique technology ecosystem made up of virtual communities working together to cultivate a technology landscape – usually as it relates to a particular geographic region as in a city, county, or state.

Goals Be an advocate for the technology industry in San Antonio

Does SA Really Need One?

The tech world is hyper competitive and cities

all over the world are competing for the best

talent, funding, innovations, and even

infrastructure. San Antonio is the seventh

largest city in the U.S. and the only one of our

size lacking a citywide technology council. In

fact, of the ten largest cities in the U.S., San

Antonio is the only one without such a group.
