Formceal 3000X is a self adhesive bituminous/asphalt membrane for all types of

properties such as high resistance to acids, alkalies and pollutants.

Formceal 3000X exhibits a self sealing action if it is punctured by nails or accidentally cut, the membrane will re-seal on contact and maintaining water tight.

SUBSTRATE APPLICATION

Prime the substrate with Formceal Primer or a suitable bituminous primer by brush or roller at 4m2/l and allow to dry.

Unroll membrane. Ensure that there is an overlap of 100mm at the ends and 60 mm at the sides.

For application on horizontal substrates, remove about 400mm of the release paper and position the membrane on the area to be waterproofed and press down. By pulling on the free end of the release paper, the membrane will automatically unroll without forming wrinkles or folds. When the membrane is correctly aligned press it into position.

For ease of handling on vertical substrates, cut the Formceal 3000X into lengths of 3m.

This membrane can be covered with either a concrete screed or topping, tiles, aggregate, insulation material or similar. When doing so, make sure that the membrane is not punctured or damaged.
