Forging a New Path Seeing the World through the Lens of Healing & Reconnection

We each travel through our earthly lives on an individual path. This path is cyclical

and spiraling and continues to return us to what we need to heal before moving forward.

However, the “returns” are not meant as failures but as additional opportunities for

growth. In this regard, we are assured that we have multiple chances to learn the lessons

of this life that contribute to our soul evolution and healing.

The individual path is unique, and therefore, solitary. Each of us carries a unique

energy signature, a singular frequency shared by no other. Our paths reflect this

individuality and are designed to further our soul growth and development. However,

knowing that we walk a solitary path in which we alone are responsible for our healing

and growth can easily lead to a sense of isolation, a feeling that no one understands our

journey and challenges. This becomes especially true during times of turmoil and

upheaval, which can exacerbate the sense of separation from others. That said, although

our paths are solitary by virtue of our uniqueness, they are intricately interwoven with

those of countless others we encounter along our earthly journey. It is, in effect, a complex

and interdependent web of intersecting lives and paths, interacting with each other,

affecting each of us within this web to varying degrees, depending upon the level and

nature of the interactions. This “web of souls” consists of individuals and experiences

that comprise a large part of our earthly lives that affect many of our choices during our

human incarnations and whether said choices are healthy or unhealthy for us.

When Reiki comes into our lives, a new path, a new connection, appears -that of a

richly woven tapestry from which we can draw strength and inspiration during even the

most challenging times. Our solitary path is now profoundly and eternally connected to

the global Reiki community, an intricate web of individual souls on their paths, all

connected by, and to, the loving energy of Reiki. This global community is wonderfully

restorative, offering sustenance, support, and wisdom when our journey seems dark and

lonely.

We need only to tap into this network through intention, and Reiki’s limitless

power allows us to draw from it what we need, and in turn, offer what someone else may

need. Thus, it is in effect a symbiotic relationship, for as we seek help and guidance, we

offer our own to those who may benefit.

When the Reiki path, along with the global Reiki community, becomes woven into

the fabric of our individual paths, we become part of an illuminating force, a guiding

light for all to see. We bring light to the world as we practice and share Reiki, standing in

service to others and ourselves. And, in so doing, we stand with literally millions of souls

across the globe whose paths are interwoven with the Reiki community. When we refer

to someone “crossing our path,” we are giving voice to a profound truth - we need each

other as we navigate this earthly life, as surely as we need air to breathe. This truth has

never been so resonant as during these current times of significant change and turmoil.

The events of the past two years have created a chasm of loneliness and altered the very

foundation of our existence. Lack of physical human interaction exacts a heavy toll, and

virtual communications are, at best, a mediocre substitute. Humans are hardwired to be

social; without this necessary element, we risk becoming fearful, anxious, distrusting, and

withdrawn.

However, those on the Reiki path recognize the energetic essence of our earthly

lives and know that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. Indeed, the

physical form is merely one small part of who we are as holistic beings. And when we

walk with Reiki, we are allied with a loving and powerful force to help us heal and

reconnect with each other, regardless of physical distance or circumstances. In short, when

we walk with Reiki, we walk with each other. The unifying force of Reiki transcends all

earthly concerns as it shifts our perspective and view to the lens of healing and

reconnection with each other. It allows us to walk together, even as we navigate our

individual paths, regardless of physical location. Reiki helps us realize the illusory nature

of a solitary path when we come together as energetic beings in service to each other,

humanity, and the planet.

With this newfound perspective, seen through the lens of healing and

reconnection, we know that we have all the resources necessary for healing and growth,

simply because our paths, along with millions of others, are woven with the rich and

bountiful tapestry of Reiki.
