Safety first:

When performing any work on your vehicle it is important that you make safetyyour main concern. Properly support the vehicle with jack stands on each side. Never work under a vehicle supported only by a jack.

Note: The Following installation was done on a Volkswagen MKIV 1.8T Jetta. Installation for other vehicles will be similar.

Tools Required:

Wire Snips Flat Head Screw Driver Sharp Kitchen Scissors

Preparation: Park automobile on a level, suitable working area. Be sure to put the vehicle in park and/or engage the parking brake. Allow the engine time to cool to ambient temperatures to avoid the possibility of burns.

Before you undertake this installation it is important that you read the instructions; and that you also have the necessary tools and skills required to complete the job. If the installation of this product seems overwhelming, please contact a qualified installer in your area.

Step One: Remove Engine cover.

Engine cover Hold Down Screws are marked above. Push in slightly and turn 90 Degrees. Location of stock engine cover holes are the same.





With the engine cover removed, proceed to remove the one time use only crimp clamp from the turbo outlet pipe. (Removing the crimp clamp entails cutting or prying it off. These style crimp clamps are one time use only, so don’t attempt to reuse them.)





Now remove the black vacuum line from your stock or aftermarket diverter valve. (If stock diverter valve, there will be a small crimp clamp here, snip it off to remove the line)

Remove the bottom crimp or screw clamp (crimp clamp for OEM valves)





With the entire diver valve assembly removed, insert the supplied Forge block off plug in to the turbo inlet pipe and secure with supplied hose clamp.

Cut approximately one inch from either side of the silicon blow off valve adapter to ensure blow off valve clearance below the rain tray.





Install the supplied silicone adapter as shown and secure with supplied hose clamp.

Using the supplied silicone vacuum line and reducer, fully insert the adapter into the vacuum line. ( a bit of oil from the dip stick works well here)





Insert the supplied reducer into the end of the vacuum line that was connected to the top of your diverter valve.

Install the 004 blow off valve on top of the supplied silicone adapter using the supplied hose clamp.

Connect the vacuum line to the top of it. This is a tight fit, some lubrication may be required. Once installed, no other method of securing the vacuum line is necessary. The vacuum line will not pop off under boost, if properly installed will hold by its self with out issue to over 30+ pounds of boost.





Trimming and routing the vacuum line is up to you. Ensure that there is no rubbing or pinching, and that all clamps have been tightened to your satisfaction. Reinstall your engine cover, and double check all your work.
