For no less than three generations, STAS

has been striving for excellent product

quality. The company has dedicated

these years of passion, combined with

craftsmanship down to the last detail,

to the production of long-lasting tippers

and moving floor trailers for the Europe-

an market. The team pours all its efforts

into supplying you with a quality product

with outstanding design and user com-

fort. STAS is a family business with a

clear vision for the future. The brothers

Urbain and Leon Heyse proved this right

back at the beginning of the previous

century, when they began producing

their first trailers along with their agricul-

tural vehicles in the village of Stasegem,

Belgium. Later Willy Heyse and his wife

Lydie moved the business to the near-

by town of Waregem, where they shift-

ed the focus to export and automation.

With a young and dynamic team, their

son Francis Heyse is continuing to im-

plement product specialisation and

business expansion today.

STAS is a strong, stable organisation and

a household name in the sector. Innova-

tion, with constant in-house research in

the field of construction, is an important

pillar of the business. Countless product

innovations set the standard today for

constructors worldwide. What is the key

to a powerful and long-lasting quality

product that is light and aerodynamic at

the same time? This is the question that

STAS engineers devote themselves to

SITES

STAS has three sites: two in Belgium

and one in Germany. The head office

and aluminium tipper production site are

in Waregem, Belgium and the moving

floor trailer production site is in Tournai,

Belgium. In 2015, STAS took over the

‘Lück’ production site in Freudenberg,

Germany. That is where the high-end

steel tippers are built. STAS has delib-

erately continued to specialise at each

production site, adapting its fully auto-

mated machine park to meet this de-

mand. Well-oiled production processes

with modern machinery guarantee the

company’s ability to make fast and ac-

curate supplies.
