PRESENTER INFORMATION

Chatterbox Entertainment is a professional entertainment production company. Run bySheila Lorraine who is an experienced performer herself as well as a sound and lighting technician. Sheila has produced many shows for venues all over the world. Chatterbox manages various shows and artistes and also runs a booking agency for other artistes including local, national and international acts.Chatterbox also produces one off variety shows and theme shows, and can fit to a particular venue or budget.

ABOUT THE SHOW

A decade after the fabulous EVERLY BROTHERS received their lifetime achievement award from The Recording Academy, their music continues to be as popular now as it was back then thanks to the amazing talents of the internationally acclaimed tribute show - FOREVER EVERLY.This show is described by critics as "the closest thing you'll get to the Brothers", with a slick performance that has audiences re-living an evening of nostalgia, with the wonderful music and soaring harmonies that made The Everly Brothers so famous. Hailed as the best Everly brothers tribute show in the world, they are regularly booked for appearances in countries that have already have Tribute shows based there.The show recreates the atmosphere, looks and soaring harmonies of The Everly Brothers, and features just some of the 750 songs that THE EVERLY BROTHERS recorded, - including many of their hits such as – Walk Right Back, Cathy’s Clown, Dream, Claudette, Cryin’ in the rain, Bye Bye Love, Love Hurts and Wake Up Little Susie. You will also hear some of their country recordings, rock and roll songs, and of course their beautiful ballads.

With the sad passing of Phil Everly in 2014 – this is the only chance the baby boomers and others that grew up with the music of The Everly Brothers – will get to relive that era…

“FOREVER EVERLY” features David Lee-Jay and Mark Rigney who are both entertainers with a vast wealth of experience. They have toured internationally in the last 5 years to the USA, Canada, UK, Malaysia and New Zealand, and already have return dates lined up for Canada, USA and South Africa in 2021. They are regular headline guests on some of the world’s most prestigious cruise liners.This show will appeal to everyone, from the Baby boomers and those before, who grew up with the music - through to the youngsters of today who know the songs through the cover versions recorded by today’s artists.

PERFORMANCE HISTORY

This show has been performing and touring for 15 years, with appearances worldwide including UK, New Zealand, Malaysia, USA and Australia. They regularly headline on some of the world’s most prestigious Cruise Liners. Their Canadian tour scheduled for 2020 was postponed due to covid 19 and will be rescheduled.

This show takes the audience on a pure trip of nostalgia, reliving the music and times of the 1950’s and 1960’s era. The audience will sing along to the music and be drawn into the conversations and comedy banter about memories and events from that era.

FEE STRUCTURE.

The fee quoted in the web application is for the 2 piece show and can vary slightly according to venue and requirements. However for the show with the band the fee will be approx $4000.00. These fees are Plus accommodation (2 piece show – 2 rooms). Fullband show – (3 rooms (one with 3 beds) or 4 rooms).

PRODUCTION DETAILS

TECHNICAL SUMMARYFull tech specs and stage plots available upon request, but below is a short synopsis.

EXAMPLE SCHEDULEWe can bump in and out on show day. We do require approx. 2 hours from arrival to end of sound check (2 piece show) or slightly longer for the full band. This can vary according to venue etc.Bump out straight after the show usually takes approx. 60-90 minutes.

CREW REQUIRED FROM VENUEWe tour our own sound technician that can also call the lights…We require at least one person to help load in and set up our equipment.A house tech that understands your audio equipment etc. so we can plug into your system, and a lighting operator. (This could be one person - if they fit all the criteria)

STAGEStage size minimum (two piece show) 4m wide x 3m deep approx. (full band) 5m wide x 4m deep approx.

Two small tables/blocks on stage for water.We require a drum riser (if available) if the show is with the band.We can supply some white lycra sales to fly to break up a large black backdrop if reqd.

LIGHTINGWe can provide all lighting ourselves if the venue has none installed.If the venue has installed lighting then our lighting technician will call the lights, and also provide a lighting cue sheet. But we do need a lighting operator.We can manage with basic lighting as long as there is enough front white light to light the principles, and some colour washes. Obviously if you have a full rig with moving lights that is great…and a follow spot or two is also appreciated. Haze/ smoke is also great if available…

SOUND

We can provide sound equipment ourselves if the venue has none in place.If the venue has a system installed then we will just bring our own foh mixer with playback and racks and plug into your system (either through your desk or directly). We do require room at the foh position, or alternatively we can sit somewhere in the auditorium of at the side if it is loose seating. We don’t need any fold back if it is the 2 piece show as the principals are on IEM’s which we provide. However if we are using the band then 3 monitors (1 send) are required. We operate the fold back from our own foh console. Full tech spec is available.

AV

We can run projection for this show, but it is not critical. If the screen(s) are not in the optimum place – it can detract from the show.

If the venue has screens and projectors in place – we can look at running AV, but if not then this is not critical.

WARDROBE

This show has one costume for part 1 and a costume change during interval.Venue will need to supply Minimum 1 dressing room (for no band show)Or 2 dressing rooms / 1 large dressing room – if the show is with the band.

FREIGHT NOTES

If venue is supplying the production – we will not need a loading dock, but will need direct access to the performance area, as we will still have some equipment.

CRITICAL ISSUES

We have no critical issues for this show, however as we are bringing our own audio mixer and other playback equipment – it is preferred if possible for the bio box position to be easily accessible without flights of stairs. However we do understand that this is not always possible.
