It does not represent a pre-solicitation synopsis, invitation for bid or request for proposal, and is not a commitment by the government to purchase the desired supply and service. Some requirements may be contingent upon funding. Acquisition strategies may be revised due to market research, or other factors. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMANDING GENERAL As we embark on a new fiscal year, the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division stands strong, steadfast, and forward-facing in our commitment to ensure small, small disadvantaged, service-disabled veteran-owned, women-owned, and historically underutilized business zone small business concerns are afforded the "maximum practicable opportunity" to compete for our procurements in support of America in 2020/2021.

Though as a Nation we faced unprecedented challenges last year, we are prepared to work more collaboratively now than ever before. By connecting with you virtually, you can help us continue to do the Nation’s work. Market research is the key to identifying a reliable pool of firms with demonstrated

experience that align with our procurement needs. I recommend you schedule a Matched Networking session with one of our seven districts small business professionals or check our booth schedule for a chat.

Though we may not know what the future holds, by working together, we can achieve immeasurable success. Again, we look forward to chatting with you in our booth, in matched networking, or if more convenient, contact one of our small business professionals to schedule a capabilities’ briefing.

OUTREACH ENGAGEMENTS Outreach engagements are an excellent way to ‘get in front of’ a desired contract opportunity. An industry day, open house, roundtable, workshop, or other event provide other than small business, small, small disadvantaged, veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, women-owned, and HUBZone small business concerns, nonprofit agencies, and higher education institutions an opportunity to interface with leadership, program managers, project engineers, contracting, small business, and other professionals to discuss future projects, solicitations, and contracting opportunities. Small Business professionals are available for ‘one-on-one’ meetings, capability briefing by phone or MS Teams to discuss how your capabilities may align with our mission needs. Note: Due to the advent of COVID-19, meetings are held by phone or virtually until further notice. This schedule is subject to change.
