History Housed on the site of the Windsor Plant that opened in 1923,

WEP opened in 1994 building 4.6-litre and 5.4-litre V8s, as well as the 6.8-litre V10

First product produced at EEP was the RWD 3.8-litre V6 Windsor Site is home to the Powertrain Engineering Research and

Development Centre (PERDC) which opened in 2003 EEP is the only plant in Ford’s North American restructuring plan that

was re-opened EEP received landfill-free status in 2012 and WEP received

landfill-free status in 2013
