1. Disconnect battery positive terminal.

2. Remove and retain the 6x wheel arch liner scrivets at the front and top of the LH rear wheel well. If the vehicle is fitted with fender flares, remove and retain the forward 3xFF scrivets and 1xFF clip at the top from the LH rear wheel FF. Pull back the wheel arch liner to get access to the fuel flap harness connectors.

5. Disconnect the secondary canopy harness from primary canopy harness and patch the two white connectors from LOOM0141A between.
3. Layout of the LOOM0141A as shown.
4. Locate the pre-existing canopy harness in the location shown in diagram 4.

6. Disconnect the fuel flap connector (1). Patch the shorter (two grey connectors) from LOOM0141A between the two fuel flap connectors.
Use one zip tie to secure the harness to the existing harness.

7. Feed the draw wire through the front top corner inside the tub and down into the fuel filler cavity. Use the draw wire to pull the 4-pin connector end of the harness into the tub.Connect the LOOM0141B to the 4-pin connector from LOOM0141A.
8. Apply the adhesive pad to the base rail and secure the harness to the plate using one zip tie.

11. On the passenger side of the canopy, remove the M6 bolt and the threaded plate inside the window frame holding the striker bracket to the window frame.

9. Push the LOOM0141B along the side rail into the gap between the canopy and extrusion all the way to the canopy rear door.
10. Connect the Module (24) to the LOOM0141A connector (21). Peel the tape liner from the Module and attach it to the base rail.

12. Inside the canopy feed a draw wire into the slotted hole in the door frame. Draw wire should come out at the bottom end of the frame.Connect the LOOM0141B blade terminals end to thedraw wire and pull up the window frame to the slotted hole at the top. Remove the draw wire.

14. Fit the threaded plate inside the window frame and secure the striker bracket with previously removed hex head bolt, spring washer and flat washer.Note: Avoid pinching the wiring under the threaded plate.

13. Feed the rubber tube (3) into the window harness(21) as shown.

15. Remove the LHS latch cover by removing the Phillips head screw. Retain all hardware.

16. Remove two screws (A) holding the lock cover (B).Remove internal door handle (C) by removing two dome nuts (D). Retain both handle and nuts.

19. On the RHS inside the rear window glass clean the area where rubber tube (3) and wiring clip (7) will be attached, with an alcohol wipe (5) and prime with the primer stick (7). Allow to dry.
Place the wiring clip (7) approximately 10mm from the edge of the blackout on the glass, 100mm from top edge of the glass and 90mm from the side. Peel the liner and press to the glass.
Peel the liner from the rubber tube (3) and apply the tube to the glass as shown. Approximately 15mm from the clip and 15mm from the edge of the blackout.
20. Feed the wiring into the clip (7) and push approximately 15mm of the plastic tube into the rubber tube to secure the wiring.

23. Push the plastic tube (21) into the groove in the aluminium extrusion as shown.

224. Fit the two female spade connectors (25) to the wires using a crimping tool.
Connect the canopy wiring terminals to the RCL unit (1) Note that brown wire connects to the terminal marked “L” on the RCL and orange wire to the terminal “U”.
Check the functioning of the actuator when lock and unlocked is pressed on the car key. If functioning is opposite then swap wires around.
Fit the RCL and secure with the metal clip (A) onto the handle.
Note: The metal clip has a bow shape, orient the clip in the bow up position as shown in picture A. You may need a small hammer to tap it into position.

26. Clip both pull rods (A) into the retainerclips (B) as shown.
25. Fit the cam plate (A) onto the lock and secure with the cam plate bolt (B).Torque to 7Nm.

27. Ensure the latch reaches 2nd stage position, as shown and the striker is central inside the latch. 2ND STAGE

28. Fit the handle to the lock.
Check window handle operation. This can be checked with the door open, manually depress latches and activate handle. Handle should activate latches at 2/3 of handle travel simultaneously for LHS and RHS. If required, adjust pull rods as shown: Spinning clockwise - shorten. Spinning anticlockwise - lengthen.
Note: Check the LH & RH latches release (’click’) simultaneously. If not adjust the pull rod on one side until the latches release at the same time.

29. Refit the latch covers (B) and secure withone Phillips head screws (C).
Refit the lock cover (D) and secure with two Phillips head screw (C).
