Umang Ladhani B.E. (I.T) Project in charge:Aurangabad road project experience has been very special in my career. The learning experience and hard work has helped me. I would like to thank all Aurangabad Municipal Engineers & staff for their guidance, and Co-operation. It was a perfect team work amongst all working agencies. I also thank the people of Aurangabad, without their support the project could not have been completed.

Manoj Mora (Managing Partner):Since beginning we have been Quality conscious. We have used the best quality cement, construction materials and techniques. This is our guiding principal and reason of our confidence that our 15 roads will last for atleast minimum 20 years.

Hrishikesh Waghmare M.E. (Structure) Project Engineer:15 main roads of Aurangabad city are constructed using White Topping Technology. White Topping Technology was used for the first time in Aurangabad city by our company. Absence of storm water Drain on most of the roads has not effected the performance of white Topping roads since 2013. As a resident of Aurangabad city, I feel proud and honored to be associated with the project.

Message From Aurangabad TeamRajan Shah BE (Civil):A mile of highway will take you a Mile. A mile of runway will take you anywhere.“We built roads like runways. Our Aurangabad roads can take the load of fighter Planes or Boeing aircrafts.”“Aurangabad roads will last a generation”

We are Proud to be associated with the prestigious project.

Low cost: concrete road.

Durable: and Zero Maintenance.

Design life is 10-12 years: However white topping may last

upto 50 years

Less time for construction (as compared to conventional

concrete roads). By using fast track innovative technique

white topping roads can be opened to traffic within 5-7 days.

Fuel Saving: White topping are rigid pavements and save

vehicle fuels upto 20%

Reflects light: More visibility in night driving. Electricity

savings upto 20% due to less number of street lighting poles.

Reflects Heat: Asphalt roads absorbs heat and white topping

roads reflects heat, thereby cool community concept.

Saving in Vehicle Maintenance Cost and Lower Vehicle

Operating Cost (VOC) due to life long Pot hole free/

Maintenance free roads.

Environment Friendly: Once constructed, no more

aggregates, Cement/ Bitumen or other construction

materials required. Mixing/heating or transportation of

construction material is not required.

Non Polluting, dust free roads: Bitumen roads products

dust, due to wear and tear and generates aggregates waste.

Minimum wear, tear and dust is generated from white

topping roads.

Advantages of White Topping

ADVANTAGE OF FIBRE REINFORCE WHITE TOPPING ROADS

Fibrillated virgin polypropylene fibres provide three

dimensional reinforcement to white topping roads.

Inhibits plastic settlement cracking. Controls plastic

shrinkage cracking.

Lower water migration in concrete.

Provide greater resistance to abrasion, fatigue, impact

and shattering forces, thereby making concrete

durable

Provide toughness and imparts residual strength to

concrete

Improves flexural/ compressive strength of concrete

Expansion, Contraction, Dummy and Longitudinal

Joint were provided. Joint cutting using diamond

wheel cutters were used to cut 1.2*1.2mts or

1.5*1.5mts grid.

Facilitates expansion and contraction in concrete

Prevents cracking in concrete, thereby making

concrete durable

Due to reduction in spacing of joints, concrete roads

acts like interlocking blocks. Thereby even less

thickness of white topping roads can take load of

heavy traffic.

Advantages

Joint Cutting/ Spacing

Advantages

GST

The existing bitumen road was scarified & roughed

Underground Ducts- RCC pipes were provided at regular intervals across the road width for

future utilities.

Depression & potholes were levelled using GSB/ WMM / DLC

100mm thickness levelling course of Dry lean concrete (DLC)

150 250mm thickness M 40 fibre reinforce PQC concrete depending on road traffic & CBR.

Road furniture including central divider road signages, footpath kerbing, interlocking blocks

etc. were provided as per site condition.
