INSTITUTIONAL TRAINING

• Weekly parade on every Friday & Saturday for 120 periods. (per week 6 periods)

• Workshop on basics of Karate to empower the cadets for self defence

• Programme on ‘Safety on road’

• Disaster Management training by BMC

INSTITUTIONAL TRAINING

SUBJECTS TAUGHT

• Military Subjects- Drill, Weapon training,

Map reading, Self defense, signals etc.

• Other subjects- Health & Hygiene , First Aid, National integration, NCC organization, Civil defense, Leadership, Social awareness etc.

KARATE TRAINING

A five day workshop for NCC girl

cadets was organized from 26/12/12 to

30/12/12.25 cadets participated in the

workshop. Ms. Seema Vishwasrao &

Mr Rakesh Sawant both International

referees and black belt holders

coached the cadets. Various attack and

defence techniques with Punches ,

Blocks & Kicks were taught.

KARATE TRAINING

Mumbai Police trained the cadets

of M.D.College on 4th January

2013 about Safety on road.

32 posters were painted on the theme.

• Rangoli making on 2nd January 2013-

26 rangolis were made on the theme.

• Swami Vivekanand’s centenary birth anniversary was celebrated as Yuva Din on 12th January 2013 by the University of Mumbai

• 10 Cadets participated in the event
