EmbroideryThe majority of our customers choose embroidery as it is a cost-effective garment decoration solution. An embroidered design or logo on a garment looks great, is suitable for almost any fabric and results in a high-quality, long-lasting finish. The embroidery can be anything from a simple line of text in a single colour to a complex design. The waterproofness of technical garments is not compromised by embroidery through the application of tape over the stitching inside the garment.

Screen Printing and TransfersScreen printing and transfer application comes into its own when 50 or more items with the same design are required. It is possible to print complex multi coloured designs using this method of decoration and costs are based on the numbers to be printed and the number of colours in the design so for large numbers of items it can be very cost effective. Most garments can be printed, however there are a few exceptions so please tell us your exact requirements and we will advise on whether or not screen printing is suitable.

LOGO APPLICATIONS

Vinyl Transfer Vinyl printing is ideal for printing small quantities of garments. It is possible to achieve a wide variety of different effects with different materials but this process is only suitable for one or two coloured logos and can be applied to most garments.

Dye SublimationSublimation is a form of digital printing. When sublimation inks are heated, they turn into a gas and dye polyester fabric or items that have a polyester coating. The result is a premium full-colour, photographic-quality image that will not crack, peel or wash away from the garment or substrate. Sublimation dyes are not opaque and therefore the printable items need to be white or a pastel colour. Dye sublimation is applied to the garment using heat and pressure.

Depending on the specific garment, logo and location you require it on the garment you can have your logo applied by embroidery, print or dye sublimation (see page 4 for more information).

Yes, however some logos are best applied by print if they contain particularly small detail. We will advise on this on receipt of the logo.

This depends on the specific garment. The logo placement will be your choice, usually on either chest, either sleeve, nape or across the back. We will advise you the best locations for your chosen garment.

Please provide your logo in a JPEG or EPS format. Vectored artwork will eliminate a print set up charge.

Yes, upon receipt of a confirmed order we create a swatch and /or proof and email it for approval before work begins on the garments.

Yes, we apply a patch to the inside of all embroidery to ensure the waterproofness of the jacket is not compromised.

Trade orders below £400 incur a delivery charge of £6.00 +VAT.

Once the swatch or proof is signed off delivery is approximately 10 working days but can be quicker if required urgently. The lead time includes a final quality control check following the customisation process.
