Corsicana is a city in Navarro County, Texas, United
States. It is located on Interstate 45, some 58 miles
(89 kilometers) south of downtown Dallas. The
population was 23,770 at the 2010 census. It is the
county seat of Navarro County. According to the
United States Census Bureau, the city has a total
area of 21.7 square miles (56 km2), of which 20.7
square miles (54 km2) is land and 1.0 square mile
(2.6 km2) is water.
Corsicana is home to the Lake Halbert dam and
