On each of their 100th birthdays the Mayor has visited & taken the opportunity to greet as many of our residents as possible. On the Mayor’s last visit, the occasion of Ray’s 100th birthday it was therefore just like greeting an old friend! Our Chiropodist Julie Brennan regularly visits Caldy Manor. Her next visits will be on Monday Feb. 2nd & Monday March 23rd. Maud & Norman meet a singing reindeer on their 64th Wedding Anniversary! Rachel became our third resident in recent months to reach her 100th Birthday! To mark the occasion we were again privileged to receive a visit from the Mayor of Wirral, Councillor Steve Foulkes . With friends & family spread far and wide, Ray’s celebrations continued over two days! And from the picture on the right she obviously had a great time! Ray’s recommendation for living a long life? - lots of fun, singing, dancing and laughter, preceded by a hearty cooked breakfast! Thought for the Year: ‘Put a smile on your face before you sit down for breakfast’ words of Alma’s grandma aged 99 Doesn’t Ray look happy! Joan’s card reads ‘Cool has no age limit!’
