Signing inFirst of all, you need to go to www.ebaymotorspro.co.uk

Once you’re there, look up in the top right-hand corner of the screen and click the Sign in button.

This takes you to a new page, where you will need to type in your account Username and Password.

If you’re manually posting ads, carry on to Step 2. If your ads are from a feed, go to Feed Setup at the end of this document.

5 simple steps

Entering your vehicle detailsType your Vehicle Registration (VRM) number into the yellow box in the middle of the screen. Don’t worry if you haven’t got the VRM, you can go ahead and enter the Make & Model information in the box on the right-hand side and then click Continue.

On the next page, you need to fill in all the boxes that have a green star next to them, and as many of the other boxes as you can. When you’re done, click Continue at the bottom of the page.

Starting your ad Now, you’re signed into your account and you want to post a new ad, so look in the upper left-hand corner of the page and click on Inventory.

Then look over to the right-hand corner and click on Create Listing.

A drop-down menu will appear, and you need to click on Single Listing.

You’ll now be on a new page, and you need to choose a Category for the vehicle you’re going to list.

Posting your adIf you’ve followed all the steps with no hiccups, you’re now ready to post your ad. Go ahead and click on Submit. If you do have any problems though, you can get in touch with your Account Manager who will be more than happy to help you.

Adding photosTo add photos of your car so your buyers can see what you’re selling, click on Standard, then on Add Files. Select all the images from your computer that you want to include with your ad and click on Start Upload.

You can also include a YouTube video of your car by copying the web address of the video, pasting it into the box on this screen, and clicking Add Video. When you’re all done adding photos and videos, click Continue.

Feed setupAgain, make sure you’re logged in, look in the upper middle left of the screen and click on Settings. If you’re doing this on your mobile, tap Show sidebar to find Settings.

Look down the left-hand side under Listings and you’ll see Upload & Publish – click that, then click edit.

Type in an Upload username and create a New upload password.(Your password should be different to your main account password for security purposes).

Give these details to your feed provider to get your ad feed up and running.

Click Save when you’re done.
