The Chop Stars To Host The Chop Lounge During The 2012 SXSW Music Week
Chop Stars are the official DJ’s, of New Record Label “Chopped Not Slopped Ent.” providing the world with Chopped and Screwed Music; headed by The Swisha House Co-Founder OG Ron C. The Chop Stars entering 2012 have created great success with nearly one million downloads weekly for their Chopped Not Slopped mixtapes. March 14-17th the original sound of TEXAS will be featured as a non-official event at South by Southwest (SXSW) during Music Week in Austin at the Chop Lounge.
(February 2012) Houston, TX—The Chop Stars will be hosting the only Chopped & Screwed Lounge during music week at South by Southwest (SXSW). In the heart of the festivies, The Chop Lounge will showcase Celebrity Guests influenced by the “trademark” sound of Houston, Texas. The 4 Event Dates March 14-17th, will take place Wednesday- Thursday at Club District 301 from 12-6pm, and Friday at Club Mansion 9p.m.- 2a.m.
The Chop Lounge housed at District 301 Wednesday - Thursday, will consist of daily Go Live Sessions highlighting the sounds of artists, Killa Kyleon, Chip Tha Ripper, Mac Miller, Riff Raff, Dom Kennedy, A$AP Rocky, Slim Thug, Lil Keke, Big Krit, Smoke DZA, 2 Chainz, and more over Chopped & Screwed Music.
OG Ron C & The Chop Stars are presenting the Official Vibe South Event Friday night March 16th, at Club Mansion. Following Saturday with the Invitation Only, Chop Stars Mansion close out party.
The official 9 Chop Stars DJ’s, OG Ron C, DJ Candle Sticks, DJ Mr. Rogers, DJ Mankind, DJ Michael Watts, DJ Lil Steve, DJ Chose, DJ Holly Grove, and DJ Rucker will be guiding the sounds throughout the weeks events.
The Chop Lounge is open and free to the public with Badges or RSVP from 12 p.m. to 6p.m. on March 14-15th. The Go Live Sessions are scheduled to begin 3p.m. each day.
