For everyone born of God overcomes (nikao – conquers) the world.

Our faith is the victory (nike – victory) that has overcome (nikao – conquered) the world.

1 John 5:4

Death has been swallowed up in victory (nikos – victory, to utterly vanquish).

Where, O death, is your victory (nikos)? Where, O death, is your sting?

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory (nikos) through our Lord Jesus Christ.
