Life Training Institute was founded by Pastor Bill Yeary to offer Biblically-based profes-

sional programs of study in the field of natural and supernatural health.

LTI provides a solid education for students to establish their own professional practice

while bringing the ministry of God’s plan for health and wholeness to their communi-

ties. LTI offers courses of study specifically designed to integrate healing of the total

person— spirit, soul, and body.

God does have a plan for healthcare. It is a system that starts with ‘care’ that includes

natural and spiritual applications for the healing of the whole person. If you really

want to know the principles of healing and have the wisdom and power of God, then

you must start with truths from the Bible.

1. LTI has some unique courses/features. The Biblical Naturopathic Doctorate program is

achievable in 2 options. One is more of an academic orientation with 29 courses, which are

mostly textbooks with some that are backed with DVDs. The other option is more of a clinical

orientation with 12 courses that are supported with class manuals and video taped classes on

DVDs or available online (vimeo.com).

2. The iridology course meets the standards of the International Iridology Practitioner’s Asso-

ciation (IIPA). Very few schools will go to the effort to meet their standards. This course is

taught from DVDs and a comprehensive manual. Upon completion of the course the student

is eligible to test with IIPA to become a certified iridologist or certified iridology instructor. The

first year of membership is provided free with completion of LTI’s iridology course.

3. The sclerology class is one of a kind. There are two other schools of thought on sclerology

and LTI has combined the best of both and includes a new combined chart. This course is

taught from DVDs or online with a comprehensive manual. It also includes the new 11x17

chart.

4. LTI’s Energetic (Muscle) Response Testing course is also supported with DVDs or online

videos. The course manual is complete with concepts from various schools of thought that

cover muscle response testing, nutrition response testing, and meridian response testing.

5. There are 4 courses that have been chosen to also be offered with hands-instruction from a

certified instructor. They are Iridology, Sclerology, Energetic Response Testing, and Herbol-

ogy. A student has the option of completing those courses via DVD/online and manual or with

a personal instructor or both.

6. Other courses not always found with other traditional natural health schools but are offered

by LTI are specific courses on Parasitology, Detoxification, Functional Analysis, and Estab-

lishing a Naturopathic Ministry Practice. Upon graduation you will have the knowledge to op-

erate a clinical practice.

7. LTI is definitely a Christian school that teaches from Christian principles. All of the texts

have been screened to exclude radical philosophy that are contrary to Biblical teaching.

8. LTI is a 501c3 non-profit Bible School/Seminary. That means a diploma from LTI offers a

level of protection to its graduates when working with clients as they are practicing religion with

a credential from a seminary. LTI also provides a ministers license number to those graduat-

ing as a Licensed Professional Naturopathic Minister, or from the Licensure/Ordination pro-

gram.

9. LTI has made arrangements with ProAdvocate for its graduates to establish their practice as

a Private Healthcare Membership Association at a huge discount. This offers legal protection

to clinical practitioners from control and interference issues as well as liability.

The Philosophy of Biblical Naturopathy is Based on the Following Primary Principles:

1. The God of the Bible is the healer and He desires for all people to be in good

health.

2. God uses the natural and the supernatural to restore health.

3. The body has a God-given innate ability to heal itself and will do so when

properly supported.

4. Mankind was formed out of the dust of the earth and is therefore inheritantly

connected to the land (nature).

5. God formed man in His image (body, soul, spirit) and that health is a

function of these three interfacing parts.

6. Our bodies are meant to be the temples of the Holy Spirit to be nurtured and

protected for His service.

7. It is the responsibility and privilege of believers, ministers, and priests to

minister wholeness of body, soul, and spirit according to Biblical patterns

and principles.

And He said, "If you will give earnest heed to the voice of the LORD your God,

and do what is right in His sight, and give ear to His commandments, and keep

all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the

Egyptians; for I, the LORD, am your healer." (Exodus 15:26 NAS)

What is a Biblical Naturopathic Doctor?

Naturopathic Biblical doctors are trained specialists in a separate

and distinct healing art that operates according to Biblical princi-

ples. They use non-invasive natural and spiritual modalities

such as food-stuffs, herbs, scripture, and prayer. They are not or-

thodox medical doctors (MDs).

Biblical Naturopathic doctors (BNDs) have participated in a specialized course of

study in conventional naturopathic subjects such as anatomy, physiology, counsel-

ing, dietary evaluations, nutrition, herbology, acupressure, homeopathy, iridol-

ogy, sclerology, bio-electromagnetic energy, and detoxification.

In addition, they have training in prayer, laying on of hands, anointing with oil,

inner healing, and the removal of demonic influences. Biblical Naturopathic

doctors cooperate with all branches of medical science, referring individuals to a

physician or other practitioner as appropriate. In practice, Biblical Naturopaths

utilize Godly, natural, and science-based evaluation procedures to develop an

individualized approach to restoration of health and wholeness.

Biblical Naturopaths do not diagnose or label people with the names of medical

diseases, nor are they involved in the practice of medical procedures. Neither do

they use pharmaceutical drugs, nor do they perform surgery. In essence, they are

drugless practitioners trained in Biblical principles for the purpose of ministering

to the whole person - spirit, soul, and body.

BIBLICAL BELIEFS

1. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1-20)

2. We believe God is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe. (Gen. 1; John 1:3; Col.

1:16; Heb.1-3)

3. We believe Jesus is both Lord and Christ, to the glory of God the Father. (Acts 1:9-11;

Acts 2:36; Phil. 2:9-11)

4. We believe that whosoever will confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and be-

lieves in their heart God raised Him from the dead shall be saved. (Rom. 10:9-10; Acts

2:21; 1 John 1:12)

5. We believe that the Holy Spirit is sent by Jesus to indwell, empower, teach, guide, and

comfort believers. (Luke 12:12; Rom. 8-11; John 16:13; Acts 1:7-8, Acts 9:31)

6. We believe that the Lord Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection from the dead pro-

vided for the healing of the spirit, soul, and bodies of all peoples. (Isaiah 53; I Peter

2:24)

7. We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ, who will come to rule as King

upon the earth with the saints. (Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thess. 4:13-5:2; Rev. 19:11-22:1, Rev.

22:20)

Now, more than ever, there exists a need in our church and society for individuals who are properly trained in diverse areas of ministry - counseling in salvation and doctrinal issues, recognizing mental illnesses, conducting Faith-Based Therapy™, providing help for those in crisis. These programs provide a well-rounded source of training for those seeking to be used in such areas of service.

CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, AND ORDINATION

Certification, Licensure and ordination are ministry credentials, which must be

renewed annually. The Licensed Minister, Ordained Minister, Certified Biblical

Health Coach, Certified Biblical Nutritionist, and Licensed Professional

Naturopathic Minister programs are maintained with a yearly renewal fee of $49 or

by completing an additional class from LTI.

Some states require a secular license to work in specific service areas or vocations.

Although LTI offers licensure and the credentials may be used for vocational

purposes, the study programs of Life Training Institute are not designed to meet the

requirement of any particular state where a license is required. Life Training

Institute carries a 501c3 non-profit status as a religious organization.

The status of a ministerial application will be determined within 12 business days of

LTI receiving all requested information. If you are not accepted for licensure or

ordination for the Licensed Minister, Ordained Minister, or Licensed Professional

Naturopathic Minister program, you may withdraw or opt for another program.

FLEXIBLE PAYMENT PLAN

You may pay in full at time of enrollment to obtain a discount or pay course by course to

complete your program.

HOW TO GET STARTED

An admissions representative is available to assist you in course/program selection and

payment options. Then simply fill out and submit the application.

TIME LIMIT FOR PROGRAMS OF STUDY

The Licensed Minister, Ordained Minister, Certified Biblical Health Coach, and Certified Biblical

Nutritionist Programs of study must be completed within 3 years. The four Naturopathy

Programs must be completed within 6 years. The candidate that does not complete the entire

program of study within the expected time limit may be dropped from candidate status.

Extensions may be applied for in writing. Exceptions to the above for hardships cases may be

granted by the administrative board. All decisions from the administrative board are final.

NONDISCRIMINATION

Life Training Institute seeks to conform to all federal laws concerning equal opportunity, and

does not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, creed, or national origin.

REFUND POLICY

Students who withdraw from their program of study within the first 40 days will receive a 50%

refund. I understand that if I am not accepted for candidacy licensure or ordination for Licensed

Minister, Ordained Minister, or Licensed Professional Naturopathic Minister program, I may opt

for another program.

TRANSFER OF CREDITS AND COMPLETING OF ADDITIONAL PROGRAMS

Transfer of credits from another institution or college is allowed. Life Training Institute limits

credit transfers to three courses in order to help students develop a thoroughly consistent

philosophy traditionally associated with the LTI diploma. You must submit a valid transcript

with sufficient documentation to verify similarity of courses completed to the named LTI courses

you desire transfer for credit. After completion of a program, you may enroll in additional

programs by completing another APPLICATION. All completed LTI courses will be accepted for

credit towards other LTI programs.

Statement of Agreement

I understand that Life Training Institute is a Bible School that teaches ministry and natural

health according to traditional Biblical principles. I agree that I will use any designation I receive

in accordance with applicable laws in the state in which I reside. I understand that this program

does not qualify me to practice medicine or any other practice reserved currently by state law

for licensed professions.

I understand that Life Training Institute will supply the course exams on the web site or will

mail them for $10/exam. I also understand that many of the courses require me to obtain

textbooks at my own expense. I also understand that for some of the LTI courses, materials are

supplied with paid tuition (so noted on the web site). The exam answers may be emailed or

faxed or mailed; but if requested by LTI, I will mail the assignments and pay the postage. I

understand that it is prudent to make a copy of the assignment before mailing in case it is not

received or becomes lost. I understand that all answers/assignments/exams etc. which I submit

become the property of Life Training Institute.

I agree to retake any exam in which I fail to obtain a passing score of 85%, and that the

decision of the faculty and administration is final.

I agree to abide by LTI’s policy concerning all matters pertaining to enrollment and

completion of courses and programs. The Licensed Minister, Ordained Minister, Certified Biblical

Health Coach, and Certified Biblical Nutritionist Programs of study must be completed within 3

years. The five Naturopathy Programs must be completed within 6 years. The candidate that

does not complete the entire program of study within the time limit may be dropped from

candidate status. I understand that I may not be allowed to complete the program and all

monies will be lost. Extensions for hardship cases may be applied for in writing. All decisions

from the administrative board are final.

I understand that since this is considered a professional, educational experience, all course

assignments MUST be typed. LTI is working on making all tests taking to be conducted online.

I agree that I have read, understand, and accept the terms of the REFUND POLICY.

I understand that if I am not accepted for licensure or ordination for the Licensed Minister,

Ordained Minister, or Licensed Professional Naturopathic Minister program, I may opt for

another program.

The Licensed Minister, Ordained Minister, Certified Biblical Health Coach, Certified Biblical

Nutritionist, and Licensed Professional Naturopathic Minister programs are maintained with a

CNS101 CNS 101 Christian Counseling Covers ethics, foundations of faith, makeup of man, motivational gifts and personality, Faith-Based Therapy™, leading someone into salvation, identity / position / purpose / significance in Christ, scriptural concordance, basics of counseling, opening a counseling center, recognizing mental illness, initial forms and assessments, value of nutrition, and legal issues.

CNS102 CNS 102 Advanced Christian Counseling Covers stress, co-dependency, self-esteem, anger, forgiveness, premarital and marriage counseling, divorce, family issues, blended families, depression, suicide, grief / loss, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive, sexual abuse, sexual addictions, and reality disassociation.

CNS103 CNS103 Drug & Alcohol Recovery (GOD14®) Provides an overview of drug and alcohol education, sin and disease of alcoholism, identifying the addict, AA and NA, scriptural steps, relapse and enabling, family dynamics, steps to breaking physical and psychological addiction, prescription drugs, screening, neurotransmitters, chemistry rebalancing, recovery flowchart, detox categories, and forms and assessments.

BIB210 BIB210 Ministerial Ethics All ministers should hold themselves above reproach. This course will challenge as well as encourage spiritual ethics beyond a secular view.

I understand that Life Training Institute is a Bible School that teaches ministry and natural health according to traditional Biblical princi-

ples. I agree that I will use any designation I receive in accordance with applicable laws in the state in which I reside. I understand that this

program does not qualify me to practice medicine or any other practice reserved currently by state law for licensed professions.

I understand that Life Training Institute will supply the course exams. I also understand that many of the courses require me to obtain

textbooks at my own expense. I also understand that for some of the LTI courses, materials are supplied with paid tuition (so noted in catalog

and web site). The exams are available by email or on the web site, but if requested Life Training Institute will pay the cost of shipping exams

to me. The exam answers may be emailed as PDFs; but if requested by LTI, I will mail the assignments and pay the postage. I understand that

it is prudent to make a copy of the assignment before mailing in case it is not received or becomes lost. I understand that all answers/

assignments/exams etc. which I submit become the property of Life Training Institute.

I agree to retake any exam in which I fail to obtain a passing score of 85, and that the decision of the faculty and administration is final.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does your school have a license or accreditation?

LTI is accredited by the Natural World Health Organization.

LTI is currently investigating the value of being accredited

with other organizations. We have not, nor do we plan to

seek accreditation through the U.S. Department of Educa-

tion.

I am interested in your school, but I am wondering how

your school compares with others.

We believe that we have the best direct education pro-

gram available in Naturopathy. Students continually tell us

how excited they are over the course materials. Our tui-

tion is generally much less than other self study direct edu-

cation programs in this field by at least a $1000 or more.

What are the requirements to enroll?

We require the minimum of a high school diploma or GED

to enroll in any program we offer.

If I complete your programs, are the courses I’ve taken

transferable to another school or organization?

Most comparative schools will accept courses for credit,

but each school sets its own policy on accepting credits

from other institutions. We cannot guarantee that other

schools will offer comparable courses and give credit for

work completed. We will furnish you with an official tran-

script and course descriptions as needed to support your

efforts.

What is the time limit to complete a distance training

program?

The Licensed Minister, Ordained Minister, Certified Biblical

Health Coach, and Certified Biblical Nutritionist Program

must be completed within 3 years. The four Naturopathy

Programs must be completed within 6 years. Extensions

for hardship cases may be applied for in writing.

Are other courses accepted from other learning institu-

tions?

Yes, as long as the course material is comparative. Provide

a transcript or other descriptive information so a decision

can be made.

What texts are used and how are they obtained?

Some courses are published books that are easily obtained

from Amazon.com or other retail outlets. It is the stu-

dent’s responsibility to obtain the required texts/materials

for their program. Some course materials are provided

with your tuition payment from LTI. Those courses are so

designated on the web site.

Can I get a book list for all the courses in my program?

Yes, that is already provided on the web site.

Do you offer video for classes?

Yes, fourteen courses are with DVDs or online at

vimeo.com.

Will you email or mail the course questions and can I

email the course answers or must I mail them?

Exams are available on the web site. They may be mailed

to you, but with a $10 fee/exam. You may either email,

fax, or mail your answers. Always keep a copy.

Tell me about the license and is there a license number?

The license is a ministry license and is in no way connected

to the state or government approval for a licensed medical

profession. The number issued with the license is for

tracking and identification, and to honor the professional

status. Some retail supplement companies request a li-

cense number as well as some health savings accounts

(HSA) have been known to accept license numbers issued.

What are the benefits of maintaining my certification/

licensure?

LTI desires to represent its graduates well and to be repre-

sented well. Renewal is a means of maintaining current

contact information, promoting incentive for continuing

education, and for making discounts and opportunities

available. The graduate list will be updated with those in

good standing. It is an honor to display the credential

earned place the designation behind your name. Those in

good standing will be able to join upcoming forums.

Can I just take a class without enrolling in a program? Yes. The cost would be the same as the tuition for that course.
