A successful canned food drive, more than 125 ven-dors, and sixty seven gingerbread houses built madethe 26th Annual Country Christmas Faire at theNevada County Fairgrounds a success.

The 8th Annual Gingerbread House Competition wasonce again a crowd favorite, with more than 67 entriesreceived. The Best of Show winner, as chosen byjudges, was Kathryn Hammond of Penn Valley who

also won the PeoplesChoice Award. Other win-ners were Jillian Beaver(child 5 & under); EllieAndrews (child - ages 6-8);Ellie Robinson (child -ages 9-12); Evelyn
