CLUB HISTORY
FC Jedinstvo is one the oldest and most famous football clubs in Serbia. It was founded in 1920 and records its biggest successes in 1966, 1978, 1981 and 1986, when acchieved the promotion to very strong Serbian league, then in the seasons 2000/01, 2001/02, 2003/04, 2004/05, 2005/06, when Jedinstvo competed in Serbian Second League.
Red-white shirt of Jedinstvo was worn by the club legend, Dragan Džajić, officialy the best Serbian football player ever. He made his first football steps at the club’s sta-dium, not far from his family house. Scouts of FC Red Star Belgrade spotted him at one of the local tournaments. He was 17 when made his debut for Belgrade team. Dragan Džajić is now one of the biggest Jedinstvo’s fans, not missing a single game.
Jedinstvo was first club for several more famous players from the past. In early 20’s of the last century, full-back Ratko Čolić transferred from Jedinstvo to FC Partizan Belgrade, and made his way to Serbian National Team. Dušan Savić, legendary Red Star’s player back in ‘70s and ‘80s, favourite of their supporters “Delije”, was also product of our School of Football.
Durring the ‘90s and last years of the last century, FC Jedinstvo was solid team, lead by legendary Profa- Miodrag Radanović, played in Serbian Second and Third league. Our supporters were chanting names of Boško Janković, Dušan Basta, Aleksandar Luković, Marko Perović, Nenad Kovačević, Radosav Petrović, Nemanja Matić and many more great players, such as Nenad and Boban Stojanović, Vladimir Bogdanović, Saša Vulević, Nenad Milašinović, Nebojša Maksimović, Dušan Kerkez, Dejan Musović... This list will soon be up-dated with some of current players, predicted to have a great career, like Marko Adamović and Uroš Matić.

DRAGAN DŽAJIĆ, THE CLUB LEGEND
Dragan Džajić is widely considered to be one of the best football players in Serbia’s and the former Yugosla-via’s and the best outside left wingers in soccer’s histo-ry well known for his great crosses and passes, unstop-pable dribbling with great pace, natural technique and some of the best left footed free kicks ever. Considered by many as one of the most underrated players in Eu-ropean football partly because he played in Yugoslavia.
Džajić’s professional career (1961-1978) was spent pri-marily with Red Star Belgrade, for whom he scored 287 goals in 590 games. He is considered one of the most important players in the history of the club and is one of only five players to have been awarded the Zvez-dine zvezde. From 1975 to 1977 he played for SC Bastia in France (finding the net another 31 times).
Džajić was just 18 when he was first named to the Yugoslav national team. He made his debut on 17 June 1964 against Romania and would go on to earn 85 caps (the most in the history of the Yugoslav national team) and score 23 goals. Few who saw the left-winger play could ever for-get Džajić’s brilliant play. He achieved international renown for his passing and dribbling as well as his goal-scoring.
His most famous international match was likely the 1968 European Championship semifinal against England, in which his 85th-minute lob over goalkeeper Gordon Banks gave Yugoslavia a 1-0 victory against the defending world champion. The British press dubbed him “the magic Dra-gan,” and Pelé was moved to say: “Džajić is the Balkan miracle – a real wizard. I’m just sorry he’s not Brazil-ian because I’ve never seen such a natural footballer.”
Dragan Džajić was General Manager of Red Star and has most of the credit for their winning Champions Cup in 1990 and International Club Championship in 1991.

DUŠAN SAVIĆ, FAN’S FAVOURITE
JEDINSTVO FOOTBALL SCHOOL - YOUR BEST WAY TO THE NATIONAL TEAM
Dušan “Dule” Savić (born June 1, 1955 in Ub, Serbia, FPR Yugoslavia) is a Serbian former football player. He started playing football in the local side Jedinstvo Ub in his home town.
Savić arrived for a tryout at Red Star’s Marakana sta-dium on March 21, 1972, and was promptly included in the club’s youth system. Two years later in 1974, he became a first team player. He quickly grew into a feared striker and a fan favorite. At still only 19, he made his national team debut for Yugoslavia. He ended up playing more than 400 official matches for Red Star Belgrade. He has 202 Apps in the Yugosla-vian league, and he had scored 120 goals.
After leaving Red Star, he spent six seasons in French Ligue 1: two with Lille OSC, and four with AS Cannes. He also had a six-month stint in La Liga with Sporting de Gijón.
In addition to being a Red Star former great, fondly remembered by football fans across Serbia, Savić unexpectedly grew into somewhat of a pop-culture hero during the late 1990s.

SEASON 2010/11
In the season 2008/09 FC Jedinstvo made a great success, by taking 4th place in strong competition at Serbian League’s West Division. This success is gaining weight when you bear in mind the fact that the “red-white” team was by far the youngest in the league.
This season FC Jedinstvo presents even younger team, with players borned 1990 and later.
Young team lead by club’s legend Vojimir Sinđić was called again to the International Tournament in Viareggio, Italy, as a result of constant and successfull work with youth players. This could be a road for greater things for these young players. We have no doubt that they will gain experience by competing with fellow youngsters from major football clubs of the world.
