ABOUTThe camp philosophy is to provide solid fundamental football skills in a relaxed atmosphere. We will teach techniques that are vital to the athlete in reaching their fullest potential. There will also be instruction in running techniques, flexibility exercises and special skills. The purpose of the Warhawk Football Camps is to teach every camper the fundamental and advanced skills necessary to make them a better football player and to help them develop future athletic ideals in sportsmanship, leadership and citizenship.

FOCUS ON INSTRUCTIONEach camper may specialize and choose particular techniques he wishes to learn in the following areas:QUARTERBACK Throwing Mechanics, Ball Handling, Passing, Field Leadership & Strategy

LINEBACKERStance, Reading Reaction, Tackling & Pass DefenseEvery camper will be instructed in quickness and agility drills, flexibility, and proper running technique.

PERIMETER CAMPDates: June 15-17 Grades: 9-12 The Perimeter Camp will provide instruction for quarter-backs, running backs, tight ends and wide receivers as well as defensive backs and linebackers. Our camp will focus on the passing game (drop back, sprint, roll-out, play action passes and screens). In addition, emphasis will be on the offensive and defensive running game skills, both individually and in small work groups. For quarterbacks there will be instruction on reading secondary coverages and how to attack them.Resident Cost: $300 Commuter Cost: $260

YOUTH FOOTBALL CAMPDates: June 21-23 Grades: 4-8 The Youth Football Camp is effective for young athletes who are just learning the fundamental skills for football. Our camp instruction will focus on the proper techniques for all positions. Each camper will have equal offensive and defensive practice sessions to give them equal exposure to both sides.Resident Cost: $300 Commuter Cost: $260

LINEMAN CAMPDates: June 24-26 Grades: 7-12 The Lineman Camp is designed to develop skills and techniques of players who work in the trenches for their teams. Intensive individual coaching, as well as group work, will assist in helping players to develop not only the techniques necessary to play, but also the development on each player’s confidence. This camp is open to offensive linemen (including the center, guards, and tackles) and defensive linemen (including the nose guards, tackles, and ends). Campers will be grouped by grade, age and experience.Resident Cost: $300 Commuter Cost: $260

CAMP FEES AND DISCOUNTSThe camp fee for all of the camps will be $300* for resident campers and $260* for commuters. This includes a $100 non-refundable deposit. Fee includes meals, lodging, insurance, instructional materials and camp t-shirt.*Group Discount: $30 off each registration when ten (10) or more players from the same school register for the same camp. These registrations must be sent in together or the group discount will not be applied.

EQUIPMENT Warhawk Football Camps are part of a select group of camps that use helmets and shoulder pads. No scrimmage will be allowed without the proper equipment. We will furnish helmets and shoulder pads if necessary, however it is preferred that campers bring their own helmets and pads. Check with your state high school activities association concerning their rule on equipment. Some states limit you to the use of head gear only and some will not allow the use of any equipment. Some states do not allow the use of equipment belonging to a high school.

INSURANCEEach camper will be covered by a limited accident insurance policy. The insurance includes primary coverage up to $7,500 and $300 maximum dental insurance. Insurance does not cover pre-existing injuries and is for accidents only. The cost of insurance is included in the registration fee.

REGISTRATION2–3 weeks prior to the start of each camp, specific instructions for reporting to camp will be emailed to participants, as well as a list of what to bring and the residence hall assignment.
