1 .MOON(a)The Moon is Earth's natural satellite.
(b)It is one of the largest natural satellites in the Solar System.
(c) It was formed 4.6 billion years ago around some 30–50 million years after the formation of the solar system.
I. CURIOSITY OF HUMAN ABOUT MOON
a. How much beautiful the moon is!
b. Is it only natural satellite!c. Is it really round on
earth’s orbit!
II .APOLLO 11 MISSION OVERVIEW
(a)Apollo 11 launched from Cape Kennedy on July 16, 1969.
(b) It was carrying Commander Neil Armstrong, Command Module Pilot Michael Collins and Lunar Module Pilot Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin.
III. LANDED ON THE MOON
(a) Armstrong became the first to step onto the lunar surface six hours later on July 21 at 02:56 UTC.
(b) They stayed a total of about 21½ hours on the lunar surface.
(c) They collected 47.5 pounds (21.5 kg) of lunar materials for return to Earth.
IV. PUBLIC OPINION ABOUT MISSION
Former President Lyndon B. Johnson and then-current Vice President Spiro Agnew are among the spectators at the launch of Apollo 11, at Kennedy Space Center at 9:32 am
V. APOLLO 11 COMES HOME
Date : July 24, 1969Time: 12:35 p.mPlace: southwest of Hawaii
VI. PROVIDENTI . Moon rocks : (a) Astronauts collected 22 kilograms of materials including 50 rocks. (b) These samples contain no water and provide no evidence for living organisms at any time in the Moon's history. (c) Two main types of rocks, basalts and breccias , were found at the Apollo 11 landing site.
II . Corner Cube Reflector – ( CCR ) (a) Corner Cube Reflector was positioned on the Moon in 1969 by the Apollo 11 astronauts.
VII. PROBLEMS
•Leaking valves plagued the Saturn V rocket throughout its development. •High energy Z particles did penetrate the Apollo 11 crew. •The Lunar module had only one ascent engine•Very low circuit breaker switch•van allean radiation
3.CONCLUSION
In the summarizing of our topic we would like to say though it was a very difficult and costly mission but It was great victory of human and scientists.
