Greetings in the name of Christ Jesus. The Atlantic City Rescue Mission is seeking to collect any and all canned goods and kitchen stock from the community. Your donations will be used in our Community Food Basket program and in our main kitchen̓s pantry. As you can imagine, it takes a lot to house, feed, clothe and care for the thousands of people we take in each year. In fact we provide 380,000 hot home-cooked meals a year to people that stay at the Mission. Another 28,000 individuals are assisted in the community through our food basket program. By collecting food donations from the local community we are able to assist the needy and homeless in Atlantic County. All proceeds benefit the needy and homeless in our area.

For your convenience we have attached a large plastic bag to this letter, which we hope you will fill with any extra canned goods or non-perishable food. Leave this bag (and any other donations) next to a mailbox or curb on either of the pick up dates mentioned below.
