• I wanted to do a food chain that involved sea creatures.

• Phytoplankton are microscopic plants in the ocean. Phytoplankton are at the bottom of the food chain. These are called producers.

Primary consumers

• Phytoplankton are eaten by krill, shrimp, small fish and squid.

Secondary consumers• Krill, shrimp, small fish and squid are eaten by whales, big fish, seals

and penguins.

Top predators

• Whales, seals, big fish and penguins are eaten by Sharks
