Caldeirada is a typical Portuguese stew consisting of a large variety of fish, and sometimes shellfish, with potato, tomatoes and onion.
Bacalhau is the Portuguese name for salt cod. It is a very popular fish in Portugal, so much so that they say they have a different bacalhau recipe for each day.
