Sep. 16th thru Sep. 21st News and Notes Last Week In Review Football The middle school Trojans lost the first installment of the Battle of Potato Creek on Wednesday when they were narrowly edged out by Pike 14-12. The JV team won their contest on Thursday against Crawford County, and the varsity Trojans continued prep- ping for Pike County and the Battle of Potato Creek on Friday, Sept. 20th. Softball Early in the week, Senior Cayla Bishop set a school record with 4 homeruns in a single day. Over the weekend, the ladies traveled to Chattanooga, TN and played some of the top teams in Georgia. They went 1-2 on the weekend. Cross Country The cross country teams had success at the Callaway Invitational. The high school boys finished 3rd overall behind Smith Station (AL) and LaGrange High School. Aaron Crenshaw won overall and led the Trojans’ Middle School team to a 1st place finish. Alex Mo- lina, Caleb Miller, Joe Davis and Samuel Edwards also finished in the Top 10 for the boys. Football

The middle school Trojans lost the first installment of the Battle

of Potato Creek on Wednesday when they were narrowly edged out

by Pike 14-12. The JV team won their contest on Thursday

against Crawford County, and the varsity Trojans continued prep-

ping for Pike County and the Battle of Potato Creek on Friday,

Sept. 20th.

Softball

Early in the week, Senior Cayla Bishop set a school record with 4

homeruns in a single day. Over the weekend, the ladies traveled to
