Objective

For the 2013 campaign, we want to appeal to newer and more diverse clientele through multifunctional methods. We would like to attract more families in an attempt to manifest a larger surplus, we would like to attract all types of people in each and every season, and we want to dominate spring break destinations.

Seems like a big goal huh? Well this is how we are going to do it.

ApproachWe plan to use Twitter exclusively to catalyze our campaign simply because it is the most “happening” social networking site out. Our campaign will also be simple to participate in, which will draw in more simplistic clientele. Users will tweet unique pictures and moments using the hashtag “Follow Florida” and users who receive the greatest retweets will be awarded with exclusive offers and discounts toward visiting Florida!

Competitive Advantage

Our campaign strategy trumps that of last year because things change with time. In this case with the time, social networking preferences have permutated. with our campaign we are doing away with Facebook and upgrading to Twitter as it is more popular as of late and gives us a chance to branch out to a wider clientele.

Let’s take a more in depth look into how our campaign works.

Anybody with a Twitter account can participate.

Participants must attach a picture or a description of a venture in Florida using the hashtag “#FollowFlorida”

When participants use the hashtag, then they are categorized into an entire list of participants on twitter. Whichever participant receives the most retweets will win exclusive promotions toward traveling to Florida!

Contest winners will be able to receive 1 package of their choice;

Family Pack- Which includes 50% off of hotel rooms, 20% of transportation and 40% off of airfare transportation.

Couples Pack- Which includes 20% off of hotel rooms, 20% off of transportation and 20% off of airfare transportation as well as 30% off of couples based activity.

Spring Breakers Pack- Which includes a wholesale price of $2,000 and includes airfare, lodging and transportation for groups of 6-10 participants. (Package only available in Spring Break Seasons)

Winter Pack- Includes 40% off of hotel rooms, 40% off transportation and 20% off of airfare. (Package only available in Winter seasons)
