Meet in Cross Roads Classroom
We firmly believe that God will continue to open doors for GABC to be a church that is making a difference in the lives of people. This vision will only become our reality if we are willing to go through the DOORS as they are opened.
Discipleship: What process will we put in place to move believers along their spiritual journey? How can we motivate members of GABC to recommit themselves to growing in Christ through small group Bible study?
Outreach: We cannot be a church that is inward focused if we desire to be obedient to the Lord. We must know our community and discover the relevant ways we can reach out with the gospel.
Opportunities: There will be opportunities for every member to grow in their faith and to serve using their gifts. GABC will provide opportunities for those in our community to come and receive support and help as they strive to get their lives in order. We have many people with different backgrounds who could help with job skill training, resume writing, computer training, ESL, childcare for a working single mom, etc.…
Relationships: The believer’s relationships are both vertical and horizontal. The horizon-tal relationships that are forged are in large part determined by the quality of the rela-tionship that is vertical. It is from this vertical relationship with the Lord that we are em-powered by His love, grace and mercy. To love on those who are hard to love on. To reach out in compassion to those in need. We must develop solid relationships in order to position us for evangelism.
Stewardship: Financial stewardship is a benchmark for one’s love for the Lord. How can we say that we love Him when we withhold that which belongs to Him?
Kid’s Summer Camp
July 4th – 8
th
Cost $150.00 Ages 6-12 years
Summer camp is around the corner. Here are some guidelines to determine if camp is for your
child this year.
Your child is able to shower, dress, brush teeth etc. independently
Your child is able to stay overnight without you. Camp should not be the first attempt at being
away from home. We want camp to be a good memory.
Your child is able to follow a busy camp schedule.
Dates to Remember:
April 17th: Parent Meeting @ 4:00 pm in Fellowship Hall
April 24th: Deposit of $50 DUE (remainder of $100 is due July 4th)
May 15th: Packets Due
Camp His Way is a great place for kids. If you have any questions, please give me a call at 281-
487-0582. I look forward to a wonderful time at camp!
