Focus Group Planning

Firstly, what am I trying to determine?

Trying to find out what my target audience age – 14 to 30 would like to see in a music video with my narrative of a girl trying to find herself and move on from her past lover who has died. I would like then to tell me what they are interested in seeing in the music video and what would capture their attention if this was a real music video. I would also want them to picture the artist and the location of the music video, Mise-en-scene and visuals are very important

I will start by introduction and possibly make them listen to the song. I will explain the narrative and what they think of it, if it interested them. What they would like to see/visuals and the mise-en-scene that will be very important. I will ask them how they picture the location of the music video and also where I am planning to shoot it. I will ask about the artist and who they would like to see also what kind of person they want to be in the music video that will grab their attention.I will ask if they would prefer a cliff-hanger or a happy ending also if they want to see more narrative or feature more the artist.
