FN Herstal is the original manufacturer of the Quick Change Barrel (QCB) version Browning M2HB .50 calheavy machine gun.
The FN QCBTM configuration retains the reliability andeffectiveness that have won the M2HB an undisputedreputation as the finest heavy machine gun ever made,while making the barrel change procedure faster, easier,and safe. Indeed, the FN QCBTM configuration allowsthe barrel change to be quickly carried out by one man,reduces exposure time to enemy fire, and eliminatesthe need to check and adjust headspace at user level.
In service M2HB machine guns of FN Herstal orother origin can be converted by an armorer to theFN M2HB-QCBTM configuration.
The modifications to the original M2HB design are limited, so the effect on user training and logistics are minimal.
Tens of thousands of the FN QCBTM configuration arein service around the world.
The FN M2HB-QCBTM canbe mounted on the FN M3TM tripod
to provide accurate and effective fireat long range.
Target EffectA full range of cartridges including
Armor Piercing and Armor Piercing Explosive Incendiary allows the
FN M2HB-QCBTM to engage soft
skinned and light armoredvehicles and buildings or bunkers.

FN QCBTM Conversion Kit
In service M2HB guns of FN Herstal or US origin can be converted to the
FN QCBTM
configuration.
The conversion can be carried out in less than 30 minutes

of tools and gauges.
